Luke's POV:

I rub my eyes and slowly sit up. I look around the room and hear the shower on. Hey, Faith got up before me, that's a first. I grab the remote from the nightstand and run my fingers through my hair, trying to make it look a little nicer. I scroll through the channels but decide to go with football. There's nothing else on and Faith likes it so I mean whatnot.

I laid back down in bed and watched the game go on. Nothing interesting happened yet, still 0-0, no cards, no fights. Nothing cool. I lay my head back down to try and go back to sleep but jolt awake when I hear a phone ringing. I look at my phone, no caller. I hop out of my bed and look around the room for Faith's phone. I finally find it and see that the caller ID says Kiwi Boy. I assume this is Calum and decide to answer the phone.

"Hello?" I ask into the phone.

"Who the hell is this?" I'm assuming Calum asks.

"This is Faith's boyfriend Luke... And you are?" I say into the phone.

"OH MY GOSH, YOU'RE OFFICIAL!" The male voice yells into the phone, "Oh this is Calum."

"Oh hi Cal, why are you calling Faith," I ask, folding my free arm over my bare stomach.

"A little protective now are we?" Calum suggests, I shrug and he continues, "I was just calling to check up on her considering that her and Bailey still aren't talking, as far as I know."

"Oh, so you guys are like besties now?" I ask, confused. How am I so behind on all of this news.

"Yes Luke," Calum assures, sounding a bit annoyed, "Same with Michael and Bailey."

"So they replaced each other?"

"No, I wouldn't say that," Calum says, yawning, "I just think they needed some space for a while."

"Alright Cal I'm going to watch the rest of this game, I'll have Faith call you back later," I say trying to end this conversation.

"Bye Luke."

He hangs up the phone and I slowly bring it down. I close her phone but it instantly turns right back on. 1 new notification her phone reads 1 unlistened voicemail. I sigh and put her phone back. It's none of my business. It's none of my business. I repeat in my head. I look over to the bathroom and then back at her phone. It wouldn't hurt if I just saw who the voicemail was from right? I pick up her phone and click on the notification. From: Bailey Hemmings. Wow, they really are in a bad place right now. I know for a fact that they have nicknames for contacts and now it's her name? Wow.

I close her phone and place it back down on the nightstand. I try to watch the game but constantly find myself almost grabbing her phone. I once again looked over at the bathroom and listened for the running water. It was indeed still running, I groaned and grabbed her phone. I pressed the home button and went to the voicemails. I took a deep breath out and then clicked on the voicemail.

"Hi, Faith. Um, I dunno why I'm doing this.." Bailey begins. I listen as my sister rambles. "I thought that I was doing the right thing by keeping you away from Luke but I guess I was just really...uh pissed about how he wouldn't let me date Tar-Ashton"

Tar? What the hell does that mean?  She better not be dating him, if they have stupid pet names I dunno what I'd do, she can't be though right? I specifically told her not to, I'm her twin, we respect each other, right?. I shrug it off, I mean I am dating her best friend... Whom she told me not to date, a sigh and listen to the rest of the voicemail, "I let my stupid arguments with Luke drive us apart. Our friend group is basically being forced to take sides and it's my fucking fault." She ends the call with another apology and hangs up the phone. I bring the phone down and on it.
