Faith's POV:

I groan and flop down on my bed. Tomorrow's Christmas Eve and I have nothing for no one. I have to buy something for Luke because he's my boyfriend, I have to buy something for Calum because everyone thinks I'm dating him. Bailey may have ended our friendship but I still love her.... And Ashton and Michael will be hands down offended if I show up with gifts for everyone but them.

I dial Calum's number but then realize I have to buy him something... duh Faith, not him. I scroll through my contacts and call Brooklyn considering she's the only person who's willing to talk to me at the moment.

"Hi," she groans, sounding as if she just woke up.

"Hi, I need to go Christmas shopping and was wondering if you wanted to come with?" I chime, sliding on my checkered Vans.

"Sure I'll be at your place in like 5 minutes," She mumbles. I smile and say goodbye.

I pull my hair up in a messy bun not caring who I see or what the hell they think of me. I look down at my sweats and laugh to myself. I've never looked more homeless. I jog down the stairs and join my dad on the couch. He looks over to me and smiles

"Got any plans?" He asks.

"Um yeah, I'm going Christmas shopping," I state putting my hands in my lap.

"With who?" He asks, confused.

"Brooklyn," I bluntly respond as she knocks on the door. "Heyyy," I say swinging the door open. She smiles and greets me.

"Will you drive?" She asks, gritting her teeth together.

"Uh sure," I shrug. I grab my keys and wave to my dad. I feel my phone in my side pocket and sigh in relief. I leave my phone at home way too much. I start the truck and we take off towards the mall.

"So who do you need to go shopping for?" She asks, rubbing her eyes.

"Well my boyfriend and then my old friend group, I'm kinda sick of ignoring them," I laugh. She nods and laughs back, "What about you, do you need anything for anyone?" I ask looking over to her. She shakes her head and I nod.

"Does your dad know about this?" She asks looking at me slyly.

"At this point, I don't give a shit about what he thinks," I laugh. She laughs awkwardly and I stiffen up. "Why are you so awkward?" I ask looking over to her.

"I uh have a date tonight," she whispers.

"OH!" I chime. She blushes and looks over to me. "Who the hell is it?" I practically yell.

"We've only been out a few times so we don't really want anyone to know," She mumbles.

I nod and turn into the mall parking lot. I grab my phone from the center console and slide it in my back pocket. After putting my lanyard around my neck I begin walking slowly and wait for Brooklyn to walk next to me.

"Where to first?" She asks as she begins to skip.

"Um, I think I'll get Ashton some bandana's so wherever the heck they sell those," I laugh. Wow. I'm pretty sure I'm delirious.

"Sounds good," she giggles. She pushes the doors open and the humid air hugs my body. I take a deep breath and walk past the food court. Don't. Get. Distracted.

We walk down through the halls and stop as a bright sigh catches my eye. I know what you're thinking... and yes I am like a dog. SQUIRREL. Hehe.... I turn and look at the sign. Bond Touch! Keep in touch with your lover, friends, family, anyone! The sign reads. I step closer and open my bank app. I got about 400 dollars to spend. I'll be fine.
