This is Our Place

Faith's POV:

I rub my eyes and lay my head down on Luke's chest. I look around the messy room and roll my eyes. I wrap my arms around Luke and sigh Our friend groups broken again. What the actual hell. I mean Luke forgave Bailey and Ashton for dating... can't she do the same? I hope she can do the same.

"Good morning baby," Luke says, kissing my head.

"Good morning my little giraffe," I giggle.

He scoffs and stretches, yawning in the process. I kiss his neck as I slide off the bed. I stand up and pull on a pair of Luke's sweatpants over my bare legs. Luke stands up and walks towards the door. I yawn and follow him down the stairs. I rake my fingers through my hair and flip it over messily.

"Hey, guys! What do you want for breakfast?" Liz asks.

"Uh I'm not hun," I trail as I see Bailey staring at me in the kitchen. "Gry," I finish, stepping onto the cold floor. Bailey folds her arms and scoffs.

"So our friend group breaks in half for the second time and you guys are up there having sex?" Bailey asks, throwing her hands in the air.

"Who's having sex?" Their dad asks, taking a sip of his coffee.

"No one Dad," Luke sighs. Rubbing his temple.

"First off we didn't have sex," I start, sitting at the counter, "And we didn't know the friend group was split until we came down to see Ashton pacing."

"And yelling at us," Luke mumbles.

"How could you think this wouldn't cause problems?" She shouts.

"Honey calm down," Liz says, placing her hand on her shoulder.

"I dunno I guess we thought that because Luke forgave you for doing the same thing with Ashton that you'd get it," I say, propping my head up with my hands.

"Wait Bailey you an Ashton are a thing?" Andrew asks.

"yEs DaD," she snaps.

"And Luke and Faith?" He asks, taking a bit of his English muffin.

"DAD!" The twins yell in unison. He laughs and takes a sip of coffee.

"Faith you ju-" Bailey begins. I roll my eyes and look over to her.

"I'm not dealing with this right now," I say standing up. I run upstairs and grab my phone. I click on the phone app and call Calum. He answers quickly and I sigh. I run down the stairs continuing the conversation with Calum. "So you can pick me up?" I ask into the phone.

"Where the hell are you going?" Bailey yells. Luke stands up and begins to walk towards me.

"Just Calum's," I say, opening the door. I look back to see Luke shrug and Bailey shaking her head.

"So I'm officially replaced," Bailey says as I close the door.

I debate if I should walk back in and tell her my side but decide not to and wait on the grass for Calum. Calum pulls up and rolls down his window. I smile sarcastically and jump into his car. Without saying anything he drives down the road and heads to his house. I lay back in the seat and watch as buildings fly by.

"So what happened?" He asks, looking over to me, and my outfit.

"Well I walked downstairs behind Luke wearing this, Luke was shirtless and Bailey was down there," I say, motioning with my hands for whatever reason.

"And she flipped," he says, finishing my sentence. I nod as he drives down the street.

"I just don't understand why she's so mad about it?" I ask, throwing my hands up, " I mean Luke, the stubborn one, forgave her and Ashton. So why is she so salty?"
