Third Person P.O.V
Habit smiled, whipping at the blood on his face, just smirring it. "What a beautiful, s**ty morning!" he cheered, marching through the woods. "Wouldn't you agree?" There was no reply. "Oh come on, I get it ya don't have a face, but come on; the least you could do would be come out and give me a nod? Walk with me a minute...?" He paused, then huffed, "Fine, whatever. I know you're around, though. Why Ohio, by the way? You could've picked somewhere cooler. Oh well, fine then. Ooh, okay, I see 'em."
He stepped onto a trail, stepping in front of three teenagers. "Gooday, ladies," he called. They all stopped, the girl covering her mouth, one man going speechless, and the other saying "Well, this could've gone better..." "You have no idea." Habit laughed, pulling out his machete. "RUN!" The girl shrieked, darting off into the woods. The two men soon followed.
"AUSTIN!" The shorter guy called, "KEEP UP!" "I think it's here!" He called, holding a hand up to his head as he tried to keep up. "Yeah, no s**t, Sherlock," The girl called, "He's everywhere!" "Probably had something to do with that guy," the shorter man remarked, "I'd sit and think it over, but I don't think that's a good idea right now." "There's your no s**t remark, Alana." Austin deadpanned, his head throbbing.
They came to a small abandoned cabin, where the man said "This looks like a great place to get killed-" "Shut it, Josh!" Alana hissed, "We can hide from that guy. Austin, how do you feel?" "Awful." "Well you're not on the ground," Josh said, "So could be worse." "Can we move on from that?" "Move it!" Alana ordered as they jogged to the house.
Jay's eyes stared blankly out at the flat farmland as his mind was left to its own devices. Why was he alive now? How? Should he even be? What if Alex was supposed to kill him and this would unbalance everything? Then again, this is an opportunity that almost never comes around. A chance to right his wrongs. To reconsider. It had made him do that at least; he'd still, somehow, hoped to save Alex. He wanted him to pay, but he also didn't want him to die a puppet. But when the shot rang out, the last hope he had for him is what died.
Vinny leaned up, cautiously breaking the silence, "Noah, your channel uploaded." He sighed in reply, flipping the turn signal, "The Collective..."
When they pulled over in the outer Walmart parking lot, Vinny sat the laptop on the drink holder, clicking to play the video.
Out of a black background, glitching, drawn words faded into view
'Hello Noah. Hello Vincent'
They vanished, then two more, much bigger appeared
'Hello Jay'
His throat tightened, never having seen this type of video before, let alone be addressed by one.
The screen went all white, then showed Firebrand being held down, a knife stabbed into his hand palm. He jerked up, mouth opening, but it held an eye. The eye grew to take the whole screen
'We have been watching you Jay, and those who have helped you.'
Then it played a clip of Alex, rising from the ground, above the man he had just murdered in the tunnel. It glitched between that and a clip of him and Tim running away from Slender man in the same tunnel.
