I woke up the next morning and headed downstairs to have breakfast. My dad already made coffee so I took a cup and headed to the couch to enjoy my coffee when my dad called me from outside.

- "Honey, can you go to the store down on the beach and find me a drill, a hammer, a wrench, and some nails? I'm gonna try and fix some of the things are broken or outdated around the house. You can go for a walk and get some fresh air and explore the town" - my dad said and I rolled my eyes, I was hoping I could watch some tv while enjoying my coffee but looks like that's not gonna happen.

I went back to my room and put on the first thing I saw on my wardrobe, some black ripped jeans and a white top, put on some slippers and took my backpack, put some things in it, and walked out of the door. I put on my sunglasses and started walking to the store, I figured I had like a 40 minutes walk so I put on my AirPods and start some music, be my mistake by the 1975 started playing.

I finally get to the shop and started looking for the things my dad wanted, let's see, he needed a drill, a hammer, a wrench and... some nails. I started browsing the store but I couldn't find anything, so I decide to go ask one of the guys who works there to see if they can help me so I can go back home.

- "Hello, excuse me, would you mind helping me out" - I said as I stop playing my music not paying attention to the person in front of me.

- "Oh you're too fancy to shop here so you can't look for the things yourself?" - He said and I recognized his voice, it was JJ, I rolled my eyes.

- "Oh for fuck's sake, leave me alone" - I said

- "You're the one asking me for help, remember" - He said grinning.

- "Whatever, I don't need your fucking help, I'll find the things by myself, thanks for nothing" - I said and he looked at me laughing at me.

I started browsing around the store for about 15 minutes and no sign of drill, hammer, wrench or nails, I swear to god I'm dumb sometimes, this store isn't even that big how can I be this stupid. Maybe I need glasses or something.

- "How's the search going" - JJ appeared behind a shelf, laughing at me.

- "If you're not gonna help me then don't disturb me, I'm trying to get out of here as soon as possible. I don't wanna look at your face anymore. - I said and walked in the other direction.

After half an hour I managed to get everything my father needed and as I walked to the store I saw JJ smirking and laughing at me, this boy is weird let me tell you that. I took a walk around and saw a clothing store, I saw some pretty dresses and I decided to buy one for me and one for Kie for tonight, and we can be twinsies, like when we were little. After buying the dresses I put my AirPods back and started walking home.

I come home and give my dad his tools and go upstairs to my room, I take a shower and put on an oversized t-shirt, then I start to roll a joint and smoke it by the window. I unconsciously smile thinking about yesterday. I haven't had that much fun in ages, sure the boys are a bit reluctant of me specially JJ for some reason, but they seem nice and fun, and I'm glad I can still count on Kiara, after everything she's my best friend and it feels lik no time has passed when I'm with her, she reminds me of happy times.

I was out of my thoughts as soon as my phone started vibrating. I saw Kiara was calling.

- "Hey Kie, what's up?"-  I said as I took the phone.

- "Hey, what were you up to?"-  She said

- "Nothing, just got back from the shops, had a little encounter with JJ at the store and now I was smoking, not much left to do after that, why?" - I said.

- "What do you mean by I had a little encounter with JJ?" - She asked laughing

- "Nothing, he was just being annoying and rude, I don't know why he doesn't like me that bad, I don't know what I did" - I said genuinely confused from JJ's actions.

- "He is a weirdo, let him be, he'll get used to you, and when you get to know him he's pretty sweet and nice, you'll see... Anyway, I called you because there's this party at the beach tonight, and we're coming, would you like to come with us?" - She asked

- "Party? Count me in, just tell me when and where baby" - I said laughing.

- "I knew you would come! Come by my place at 7 and we can get ready together and meet the boys at the beach, cool?" - She said

- Okay, but don't look for an outfit for today, I have a little surprise for you - I said laughing and we hung up the phone.

I finished smoking and being on my phone and when I looked at the watch, It was already 6:30, I started packing a backpack with both dresses I bought earlier and then I took some makeup and put it in the backpack, I did a little bit my hair and brushed it and headed to Kie's house. I rang the bell.

- "Hellooooo" - Kiara yelled as soon as she opened the door.

- "Are you already drunk?" - I said laughing and hugging her

We walked to her room and I gave Kie the dress I bought her, she was very happy and we started getting ready, we smoked a joint while we were getting ready and we were ready to party. We both wore the same simple short tight dress, I wore it in black and she is wearing the same one but white. We both put a jean jacket over and some sneakers.

- "Twinsies, just like when we were little" - I laugh looking at the both of us.

- "It's fun. I missed some girl time, let me tell you I can't do these with the boys" - She said and both of us laughed.

- "I would love to see the boys try this dress If I'm being honest" - We laughed and we picked our bags and walked out of the house.

We were talking the whole walk to the beach so it felt like no time has passed when we got to the beach. We started walking around looking for the boys. We find them talking to some girls by the shore.

- "A group of tourists, their favorite plan" - She laughed. - "Come on, let's get the party started" - She said grabbing a beer for me and one for her and walking around.
