The night passed by and we all kept drinking, smoking from time to time, and having a good time. At one point of the night Kie said she wanted to go home and John B went with her so she wouldn't have to walk alone, so there was just Pope, JJ, and me. We kept talking and drinking for a bit longer but I was feeling very drunk and tired at that time.

- "Guys, it's late, you're welcome to stay the night but I need to get some rest, I'm really drunk" - I said as I got up from the chair, everything was spinning. - "You can sleep on the couch or in the bedroom next to the living room, whatever you want, there are some old clothes in that room you can wear to sleep if you want to" - I said as I stood up the chair and almost fell.

- "Do you need help Nat?" - Pope said - "JJ come on man, help her up the stairs" - He said laughing, he was teasing  JJ for some reason I didn't know and didn't care about, and JJ gave him a killer look.

- "I'm not going to be always there to protect and carry your drunk ass to bed you know that?" - he said as he walked me through the house, referring to the other day at the party as well. When we got to the stares he got me up in his arms and started walking up the stairs.

- "I don't need you to save me, you know that? I'm at my house, I can go upstairs by myself" - I said mumbling

- "Yeah, you sure?" - He let loose of me and put me on the floor. - "Go ahead princess, go to your room" - He said laughing at me.

- "Fuck off JJ, you're lucky you're cute, you need to compensate how dumb you are" - I said rolling my eyes and trying to get up.

- "So now I'm cute?" - He said arching an eyebrow, laughing at me as I stood up.

- "So, now, you're dumbass, for fuck's sake help me getting up, I'm going to bed" - I said as he walked towards me.

- "You're not so bad yourself" - He whispered in my ear while I was up. I decided to ignore him and go up to my room to get some sleep.

I finally get to my room and as soon as laid in bed, instantly falling asleep.

After a couple of hours I woke up. What time is it? 6 in the morning? fuck, why am I up so early? I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't so I grab a pre-rolled and smoke it out the window to see if I can go back to sleep for a few more hours.

- "Kook can't sleep?" - I hear from my backyard, giving me a heart attack.

- "For fuck's sake, It's 6 in the morning, you scared the shit out of me, why are you up?" - I said, looking at JJ standing in my backyard.

- "I couldn't sleep, wanna join me?" - He said looking up my window. - "Pass the joint, I wanna smoke too and I don't have anything left" - He said with puppy eyes. I was right before, he IS cute.

- "Give me a minute, I'll be downstairs in a moment" - I said as I walked from the window.

I looked like shit, I'm still with the clothes I wore last night and I have smudged eyeliner all over my eyes but who cares, I took another one of my pre-rolls to give it to JJ and went downstairs with him.

- "Hey.." - I said as I walked through my backyard to the hammock in the side and laying on it - "So you wanna smoke? here you go" - I threw the joint to him and lighted mine up.

- "Thanks! By the way, you look like shit" - He said, making my eyes roll back while he was walking towards the hammock and trying to get on it, almost making both of us fall to the ground.

- "Can you be a little more careful you stupid bitch?" - I said trying to put myself back in a comfortable position. He finally got up the hammock and we were both laying there. -

We talked for a few hours and it was.. fun? I guess. I've never had some alone time with JJ, being sober and he actually being nice to me. I guess I proved him wrong, I'm not a spoiled little girl.

- "So.. you don't hate me anymore or what's happening? You're actually being nice to me" - I said surprised

- "Leave it, we talked, I apologized for being a dick, don't make me go back, because my mind can still change about you princess" - He said and I rolled my eyes. - "You need to stop that" - He said looking pissed off.

- "I need to stop doing what?" - I said as I didn't know what he was talking about.

- "You need to stop rolling your eyes, it makes me nervous" - I rolled my eyes again.

We both started laughing when we were interrupted by another voice.

- "Ohhh look at the couple, the kook and the Pogue, are you friends now or what's happening here?" - Pope said from the other side of the back yard with an eyebrow arched, he looked sleepy, we must have wakened him up.

- "I don't have a choice, she's not going anywhere and you all seem to love her so I may as well try to get along with her, but get your mind of the gutter you nasty boy" - He said looking at Pope and both of us laughed.

- "You're right, I'm not going anywhere, and I'm cool what's not to love about me?" - I said smiling at him.

I made coffee for the three of us and a little breakfast, we made plans to go on a boat ride and catch some sun and swim for a bit. They were going to John B's house to tell him the plans and I called Kiara to tell her to meet us.

- "Heyyy, how you doing? How's the hangover?" - I said as soon as Kiara picked the phone. - "My head is killing me"

- "I hate my life right now, this headache is awful, not gonna drink anymore" - She said and I laughed.

- "Well.. we're going to get some sun and go on a boat ride with the boys, so there will be beer definitely involved I don't know how long you're gonna keep that promise" - I said and we both started laughing.

- "I need... to tell you.. something" - Kiara started speaking through the phone, she sounded worried.

- "What's up girl, you know you can tell me anything, spill it" - I said trying to get her to open up to me.

- "Me.. and... John B... we kissed last night when he dropped me off at home" - She said and I was shocked. I knew it.

- "WHAT" - I said.
