I spend the entirety of the night texting Taehyung through tears. Wendy likes someone else. Not that she can't like someone else, but it still hurts.

I: Tae, please wake up

I: Something happened

T: yeah, you're capitalizing the first words

T: what's up?

I: Wendy likes someone else

T: what? 

T: did she tell you?

I: briefly

I tell him everything that happened, including the conversation she had with Joy and our conversation. My stomach hurts so much, I feel like throwing up.

T: she keeps saying she can't like them because they like someone else?

I close my eyes and try to fall asleep.

I wake up at around twelve. I get up, brush my teeth, change my clothes, and go downstairs to eat. Wendy is already awake, watching TV downstairs.

"Good morning," she says.

"Could you buy our apartment back?" I ask, ignoring her.

"You want to go already?" Wendy asks. "I mean, sure, of course I can, but you want to go?"

"It's not that," I lie. "I just feel like my mom and I should get going soon. I don't want to bother you with anything."

"I'll tell my parents when they get home," Wendy says. "Do you wanna watch with me?"

"No thanks," I say, grabbing a banana. "I'm meeting my friends at the park in half an hour."
