Nine Muses, Nine Bruises

A typical morning in the house

I am woken by the sound of fangirling. Every. Single. Morning. As I walk down the hall I am met either by one of my friends who has turned in to a zombie after staying up all night watching a live stream, or a hyperactive friend who ate too much sugar. I'm not complaining, my friends are great.

This morning, Diana is complaining because her boss is condescending and she feels like she's not respected at work. 'What is her problem?' she sighs as she fidgets with some cutlery. 'She doesn't trust me with anything, she's like "don't forget the...". NOBODY CARES'. I repress the urge to smile as I remember the days when we slagged teachers and homework was our biggest problem.

Sky is not her bubbly self because she's busy studying for her university leaving exams. She's biting her nails on one hand while she throws a pen over her shoulder exasperatedly with the other. 'Dude, this is so stupid! Eff society!' she screams. Everyone laughs at the ancient inside joke.

'Can you all SHUT UP?!' Rebekah shouts. 'I'm trying to watch this! Do you wanna hear what it's about? Cos if not, please be quiet!'

Grace has headphones in while she plays a song on the piano. It's creepy and vaguely horror-movie-ish.

Aisling is listening to Diana ranting about her boss while she hums an old song. She's probably practising for her gig tonight.

Elise is on her iPad, no doubt writing a fan fiction. Grace takes her headphones out and says something to Elise and laughs. Elise stops typing and looks confused. 'What?' Grace sighs and repeats herself. 'I don't get it' Elise moans.

I walk to the fridge and grab some food. 'Sky, are you gonna eat this?' I ask. 'Nah, take it Lola' she replies. 'Thanks' I grin.

A/N - This is about my friends who have Wattpad, but the names are fake. They have to guess which one is them or who any of the other characters are, really. When they do I'll post the next chapter with more information about likes / dislikes, appearance, interests and stuff. This was a test to see if I could describe them just by behaviour etc., lol.
