Synopsis:
Inspired after watching a volleyball ace nicknamed "Little Giant" in action, small-statured Shouyou Hinata revives the volleyball club at his middle school.
Review:
I'm not really a fan of sports anime but this is like the talk of the town so I decided to give it a try. If you're not fond of sports anime like me, you should still try watching this show. There's great character development present and it is also inspirational that the thought of joining the volleyball team crossed my mind. But no, I'm not cut-out for that sport, yet the show has that strong inspirational element that you can see in every character. Let's say you're not really that sporty and removing sports or volleyball in the picture, the show is still inspiring because it indicates that if you strive to be better then you already are great. It also shows how it feels like to be in a team and how to work with a team.
If you are a volleyball player, you will definitely love this show. The strategies of each team are portrayed in every match and it is absolutely witty (well that's what I think, cause when we play volleyball I don't really think, all I do is receive the ball, that is why I am quite impressed) you can use it in your next battle.
The show is pretty good overall, it is very funny, inspirational and it gives you the adrenaline while watching. If you're up for light-hearted and sports anime this show is for you. You may also enjoy this after watching a heart-wrenching and devastating show, this will help you lessen the burden.
