This will be long so bear with me. I was astonished how the show stayed with me, and I didn't realize I made a pretty long review.
We're back at it again for another Romance anime. I know I said that I am not a fan of the said genre, but after I got invested in Kaguya-sama, I tried looking for something like it. But the two are far from being similar, yet I'm not saying that the other one is good and the other one sucks. Both of them are great in their own way, and I'm not here to compare the two so let's get back to Rascal.
I thought the title of the show was odd and long that I decided to watch it because I want to know what was it about. I gave its first episode a try, then boy I was hooked. I was so curious about what the heck was happening and I wanted to know more about the show. While watching, I knew that this show is not just about romance. There were peculiar events taking place, and that's when it dawned on me that this show is somewhat supernatural and psychological which was very interesting. The emotional element present in the show is quite strong too, and I wasn't prepared for that because I thought I was in for RomCom. Nonetheless, this anime was great, it may not be my favorite, but it is great and I did not expect it to be.
The animation is absolutely stunning, and all of the characters are very beautiful and attractive; and when I mean attractive, their face and personality is wonderfully written, not exaggerated titties. All of the characters are just so beautiful and handsome, and that's one of the main reasons I got hooked by the show in the first place. I know, such a shallow reason I have in mind, but once you watch it, I bet you'll be drawn by their faces. The personality of every character is very lovable, and character interaction is great.
If you are in the mood for romance along with supernatural and psychological genre and a bucket of drama, then please do watch this show.
