Author's note: Let's all imagine guys na natapos na ang quarantine. Haha. I am getting bored na sa puro bahay kwarto ang setting ng story. Para naman lumakbay rin ang inyong isipan sa labas.

Months have passed at natapos na rin ang quarantine sa buong bansa. The pandemic was really tough to get rid off. Although the country has took precautionary measures before mag-end ang quarantine.

There are curfews during the night, required masks if you are to go out. Quarantine has ended but it looks like people still don't want to go out. I feel them.

The pandemic has taken many lives of innocent mentally weak people. Although 50-60% of the population have survived the disease, they could not still live peacefully due to the discriminations. Kahit gumaling na sila sa sakit marami parin ang natatakot na lumapit sakanila, ang nangangambang baka carrier sila.

I could not blame them. Being judgemental is one of the Filipino traits that we could not wear off. I, too, detest that I judge most of the time pero I would never let it go down below the belt.

Napalingon ako sa paligid, observing the ambiance after several months of surviving with the pandemic, I could tell that it still remains dead silent. Few people are around but the cars.

We are currently going to my condo unit to retrieve some of my things in school na na-iwan.

"Anong books pa ang na-iwan doon anak?" Dad asked.

Napalingon ako sakanya sa rear view.

"Just my codals and case digest references." tumango si Dad sa aking sagot.

Ako at si Dad lang ang magkasamang pumunta. Dane is with Mom. Si Nanay Pasita ay pinauwi namin a week before the real lockdown began months ago. Kaya probably kasama niya parin si Gabriel ngayon.

Second year na ako sa Law school next school year. We just had our final examinations online bago nag end ang quarantine. Some essays na mahirap and reflections na of course connected sa pagiging law student namin.

Biglang nag ring ang aking cellphone dahilan para mapatingin ako dito. It was Ria kaya agad kong sinagot.

"Yes?" I asked.

"James did you read our GC sa Legal Technique? May remedial exams."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko upon hearing her. Agad kong pinatay ang tawag at nagpunta sa GC namin sa messenger.

Nakita kong may exams pa nga but not today. Sa makalawa pa. I could still find time to prepare. I scooted over the window at tumitig ako uli sa labas.

"Ano yon?" nilingon ko si Dad.

"Si Ria. May Remedial exams kami sa Minor Subject ko." sagot ko.

"Anong subject?" He asked.

"Legal Technique." sagot kong muli.
