Danielle's P.O.V.
"Goddamit"
Daniel muttered to himself as I looked up at Justin, an arrogant smirk on his face.
It amused me that I used to have feelings for the prick that stood in front of me. I scanned him from head to toe, he was undeniably good-looking, with dirty blonde hair, styled to the side, brown eyes, I have a fetish for brown eyes, a defined cheekbone, and a muscular body. He also had a great sense of style due to the fact that he had the money for it, his dad was a successful businessman and owned a number of companies, but all that couldn't compare to the guy who sat beside me, who was currently glaring at Justin with clenched fists.
I spoke up first, "What is it this time Justin? Don't waste anytime taunting me okay, just be blunt with it, I don't have all day".
He held a hand to his heart, a fake solemn expression on his face, "Come on Princessa, you don't have to be so rude, I just wanted to have a normal, harmless conversation with you guys. It's saddening that you think so little of me".
At this point Daniel hadn't said anything and I intended to keep it that way, "So speak up Miller, I don't wanna have to deal with you all day".
He smirked, "I kinda liked it when you called me Justy princessa, don't call me by my last name again please".
I scoffed, "I never called you Justy, and don't call me princessa, just say what you came to say and get lost".
He looks behind me, "Actually, it's Daniel I'm here to see, you're not always the center of attention Danielle".
I looked at Daniel who was stared up at Justin, a serious expression on his face, "Why would I speak to you? I thought we concluded we don't like each other, so what changed?"
Justin cleared his throat, "Well I believe in second chances, we didn't exactly have a good first impression of each other due to certain.....incidents" He glances down at me, "But I figured we could try again, maybe we could be friends".
He held out a hand towards Daniel but he scoffed at it, "Are you kidding me? Just like that?" He stood up, "I get that you don't know me, but I don't think it would make sense to anyone that you're asking me to respect you, after an encounter such as that. Respect is to be earned, but I don't think a person like you knows how to earn respect, so you can forget about beings friends with me 'cause it's never going to happen". And he sat back down.
Justin clenched his jaw, anger written all over his face, "You're doing this because of this-" He glared at me, "-Bitch, this attention whore right? I get it, you're infatuated, I was too, but trust me, you don't really know her, you think you do but you don't. But you're bound to find out soon enough" And he stomped off.
I let out a breath of relief as I watched him walk away. I mentally slapped myself, knowing that I let him get to me again. I'm not one to listen to people insult me, but Justin knows where to hit and render me speechless.
I was pulled out of my thoughts by Daniel, who watched me with a concerned look spread across his face, "What was that all about? Why did he say all those things about you?"
I let out a heavy sigh, "Well as you know, that's my ex-boyfriend, but what you don't know is that I dumped him" His eyes went wide at the statement, "Yeah, I caught him cheating on me and he lied to my face, so I had to end it. But Justin doesn't take No for an answer, he tried to get me to take him back but I refused so he resorted to public humiliation, telling everyone that he dumped me, Calling me an attention seeker, a slut. Apparently in Justin's language a slut is a girl who has dignity and sets standards for herself by not taking her lying and cheating ex back" I paused, "Honestly I couldn't give two shits what he says about me".
