"Perseus."
"Perseus."
He felt something lightly slap his cheek.
"PERSEUS!" A sharp pain in his side woke him up.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT?"
He looked around him and noticed that he was laying on a long piece of wood while Nico and Annabeth where holding onto the wood. "Well a shrimp cocktail would be nice."
"Another seafood joke and I'll tear you limb from limb."
Annabeth huffed. "Will you two shut up already! And Perseus, mind magicking us another ice boat?" Perseus looked at the water and flicked his hand upwards. Nico and Annabeth soon found themselves standing in the middle of the makeshift raft.
Perseus groaned and rolled over to stand up. Once he was standing he took stock of their surroundings. It was just crystal water for as far as he could see. He sighed. "Alright, how much of our supplies lasted?"
"Luckily, enough to last us for about three days. All of your bags blew apart when we crashed and mine didn't fare any better. Annabeths didn't have to much food but we can make it work."
Perseus sighed. He tried to gauge where they where in the Sea of Monsters but couldn't pinpoint an exact location. "Damn it! I can't tell where we are either." Annabeths brow crinkled in confusion. "Your a GPS in the water?" The expression that both Nico and Perseus sent her made her close her mouth.
"Well," Nico shrugged, "We can pick a direction and head in it." The boat slowly started moving to their left and picked up speed. The three of them where hunkered down in the bottom, trying to avoid the spray. Annabeth thought it was peaceful, the rocking of the boat with out a motor winning.
She looked at the two demigods with her. She almost cracked a smile. Powerhouses would be more like it. She shivered, remembering the feeling of watching the two of them battle, watching the very forces of the world be pitted against each other.
A penny hit her in the head and startled her. She looked at Perseus who was grinning. "What was that for!?" He grinned even more. "For your thoughts?" Nico snickered and she glared at the two.
"Fine." She huffed and crossed her arms. She took a deep breath. "I- I was just thinking about the fight you two had." Her eyes fogged up as she recalled it. "I mean, the pure power that you guys wield, the things that you can call upon or create while in mid battle. I don't think there's ever been demigods that powerful."
The shadows on Nico's face deepened, while Perseus' sneered. "Alex Jasinek." Annabeth looked at Nico in confusion. "Jasmine Surraro."
"Micheal Smith."
"Lucas Brown."
"Fernando González."
Perseus and Nico went back and forth, saying names that had no meaning to Annabeth. "What are you guys talking about?"
Perseus sighed and laid down, his head near Nico's lap. "Alex Jasinek was a nine year old daughter of Apollo who started the Black Plague. Jasmine, your half sister, was twelve when she helped the mafia take over Chicago. Smith was a son of Demeter that could control the forces of life and death. He was two when his father and step-father aged to dust. Lucas brown was a son of Hephaestus who could wield fire. He caused the Chicago Fire. Fernando was one of Mr. D's. He could make you go insane with a look."
Annabeth sat gaping at Perseus. "That- that can't be true! How come we don't know them?!" Nico bitterly laughed. "Because of Zeus. Uncle Air Head is so paranoid that he wont let us evolve."
