A daughter of Demeter? You certainly weren't expecting that. With all the trouble Meg had caused in such a short amount of time, you'd figured she was a child of Hermes. Meg certainly was full of surprises.

Chiron quickly dispersed the crowd, telling Billie Ng to take Meg to Cabin Four. You glanced at Apollo as he shot her a thumbs up. Will began tending to Sherman's head injuries while Kayla and Austin stood over Connor discussing... a hair graft?

You sighed and made your way over to the ex-god. "C'mon, Apollo. You should get some rest."

"But-"

You refused to take no for an answer. You quickly returned to being a human crutch, dragging Apollo along to his cabin. It was a quiet walk until you finally reached his cabin.

"Y/n..."

"Yeah, Apollo?"

He looked like he wanted to say something important, but he shook his head, dismissing the thought.

"Nevermind." He said finally. He stared at you for a moment, then choked out a quiet "Thank you."

You offered him the best smile you could. "Just doing a favor. It's no big deal."

"I'd like to think that helping out the god Apollo is a very big deal." He huffed, crossing his arms. "You should learn to respect me more, Y/n."

You rolled your eyes at his comment. "Whatever. Goodnight, almighty Apollo."

He seemed baffled by your sarcastic comment, but said nothing in return. He retreated into his cabin and lay on the cot you originally found him in. As you left, you ran into Will, Kayla, and Austin.

"Hey Y/n." Will said weakly. "Sherman's alright."

"Thanks, Will." You smiled. "Honestly, though, you should've left him."

Will shook his head. "A good doctor wouldn't do that."

Austin and Kayla giggled. You pat his shoulder. "Yeah, yeah. I'm glad you've got a good moral compass, Will. But seriously, Sherman can be... well..."

"A bully?" Kayla offered.

"Rude?" Austin added.

You nodded. "Both of those are true."

They laughed for a moment, before telling you goodbye and going into their cabin. You walked along back to your cabin. As you walked in, you were reminded of how pitiful it looked being so empty. Clarise (your favorite sibling) had left for college in Arizona. Your brother was lost in the woods. Sherman was still here, but he was, in the Apollo's children's words, both rude and a bully.

Defeated, you lay down in your bed, staring at the depressing ceiling. You gave a deep sigh just before falling into a nice sleep.

Suddenly, you found yourself in a forest. You heard loud whispers coming from every direction, yet none of them were the same. You caught small words here and there, like sad  and helpless and Miranda. You felt your skin crawl. It was like the trees were picking away at the fear in your brain. It was too much. You dropped to your knees and the world turned black.

When you opened your eyes again, you were in an entirely different forest. You noticed a... geyser? He was flipping through a pamphlet, muttering things about marketing research and customer satisfaction. You looked around, but you had no idea where you were. You took a step towards the geyeser. There was a loud hiss from right behind you. Shakily, you turned around. You were face to face with a giant ant.

You sat up in your bed suddenly, breathing heavily. Your hand was clutched tightly over your chest. "Dear gods..." You muttered. You looked around. You were in your room. "Just a dream." You muttered. Unfortunately, you knew that a demigod's dreams were always a bad omen.
