Des POV

Once Nick and I entered the skating ring. We went ahead and started while waiting for the rest. We held hands while gliding together on the white floor. Soon enough everyone else walked in waving at us. We waved back as they put on their skates. Joe and Shay held hands as they were just about to enter. Apparently the opening wasn't wide enough for both to fit through. Joe smacked his chest right in the half wall of the ring. Nick and I couldn't stop laughing along side Shay, Kevin and Dani. Shay held onto Joe and skated towards us.

"I swear that wall wasn't there before," Joe groaned rubbing his chest.

"You keep telling yourself that honey," Shay said patting his back. He groaned once more before they skating off. Nick and I skated the other way while Kevin and Dani caught up with us.

"We need to engulf that guy with pillows," Kevin said while scratching his head. Dani laughed,

"Says the one who ran into a door the other day." We all started laughing except for Kevin who blushed. Dani kissed his cheek and they skated off towards Shay and Joe. Out of nowhere Nick lifted me up and started spinning me around. I squealed as he slowed down and planted a kiss on me. I smiled and saw over his shoulder Joe suck facing with a girl. But it wasn't Shay. I cuffed my mouth while Nick turned to see what I was staring at. He to did the same thing. I looked around and didn't see her anywhere. Nick then gasped as he saw her at the opening with tears forming in her blue eyes. We thought she was going to run off, but instead rushed towards her soon to be ex boyfriend. She grabbed the girl and threw her off.

"I knew it! I knew it was good to be true! You're such a mother fucking asshole Joe! Fuck you and all you lies! We are done! I never want to see you again!" She cried out before storming off out of the building. The girl brushed herself off and walked away. Joe just stood there in defeat. I somehow knew he didn't mean for that to happen. He slumped down to the floor and we all gathered around him.

"She came onto me. I tried to stop it. I really did, but she was really strong. This is so fucked up," he sighed hiding his head within his knees. I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"We know and we're so sorry. Just give her sometime. She'll come around."

"She's right bro, Shay loves you. I'm sure she'll be back," Kevin chipped in. Joe groaned and shook his head without looking up. We all sighed and gave him a hug.

"I'm going to go check on Shay. I think it's time we all head back," I announced. They all nodded and helped up the broken hearted man. After I took my skates off and grabbed my things. I hurried outside to find Shay. She was sitting against a tree staring up at the sky. I walked over and sat down next to her. She deeply sighed,

"I should've known. How could I be so stupid?" She asked still not looking at me. She picked up a small stick and threw it at her shoes. I sighed, I know I should tell her that it was all a misunderstanding. I have a feeling she won't believe me. It's best to give her sometime to think things through. As soon as everyone else walked out of the building. Joe quickly headed to his truck not looking at us. Nick walked over and helped both of us up. He pulled Shay into a hug.

"I'm so sorry Shannon. Why don't you come stay with me for the night?" I noticed after he asked that her grasp got tighter. Nick raised his head to look at me. I nodded and smiled. I know she really needs him right now. After they let go, Nick came over and gave me a kiss.

"Thank you," he whispered in my ear before kissing me again. I smiled and waved as they walked to Nick's car. I sighed and figured I should go with Joe. I wouldn't want to leave that poor guy alone. He just got his heart broken. Well, let's make that two broken hearts.
