Des's POV

The taste of coffee lingered in my mouth as I took a sip. My taste buds began to dance as it went down my throat. Don't ask me why. The coffee in this hospital tastes like shit. But I needed something. I'm sitting in the waiting room flipping through pages of this overrated Magazine. Who would do such a thing like this? It's disgusting lies that sit right there on the cover. Even though some of is true. So I'll admit that I don't like Shay for many reasons. I don't really care to talk about them. I'm sure you can figure out yourself.

Once I got to the end, Joe walked out. His nose resembled the look that someone has knocked it back in place. The blue and purple marks stood out like a stop sign. Good luck trying to hide this.

"How do I look?" He asked me once we got outside. I took out my pocket mirror and showed him. "Oh my god! I look like The Exorcist!" He cried touching every ounce of his skin. I snapped the mirror shut.

"Not even close pretty boy," I said giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Well if you say so." We both got in the car and I turned the engine on.
"Can we go back to Nick's?" He asked placing his head against the window.

"Why do you want to see Nick? So he can break something else of mine? I don't think think so buddy. Let's just go back to our apartment and keep you out of danger.

"Good luck with that!" He joked. "But really, I want to see Nick. He didn't mean for this to happen."

"Just like he didn't mean to cheat on me and disowned my trust," I mumbled under my breath.

"What?"

"Nothing, I'll take you, but I don't want to see him." He gave me a big hug as I pulled over.

"Oh thank you thank you thank," he chimed in my ear. I patted his back and gave him a kiss.

"I'll pick you up at 6 so be ready," I yelled out. He was already halfway up the steps. I sure hope he heard me.

Joe's POV

When I entered Nick's apartment it looked like ground zero. Pillows were out of place and thrown everywhere. Drawers looked like they had been flung out. There were stuff everywhere on the ground. I proceeded to Nick's room walking past all this clutter. I took a big step to get passed the piles of pants left on the ground. Once I reached the doorway I walked in. I found Nick crunched over and kneeling on the ground. He was digging through piles of clothing. He threw stuff behind like a monster disembodying a human. I felt like I was in a horror movie. I took a step back and stepped on his guitar. He swiftly turned around and charged at me. I quickly got a chair to defend myself. He stopped abruptly.

"Joe, what are you doing with the chair?"

"Defending myself from my human eating monster brother," I explained. "What are you doing?" He turned his head sideways.

"About to kill my stupid clumsy sad excuse for a brother, brother," he pointed down. "You're stepping on the new guitar Shannon got me." I looked down and saw he was right. I stepped off and handed it to him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see it. Probably because this place is a mess. So I ask again. What are you doing?" He sat down the guitar and sighed.

"I believe someone may of stolen my phone. Will you help me retrieve it back?"

Des's POV

Before I started the car I opened the glove box. I took Nick's phone and went to his contacts. I found Shay and sent her a devastating text message.

'Everything that was said about you is true. I had to get you out of my life somehow without all that drama crap. Hope you have a good life and never speak to me again.' That'll teach her for stealing what was once mine. I'll get him back one way or another. Even if that means ruining someone's life.
