She called a mirage her home,
She let the climbers imprison her,
She was fragile but seemed strong,
That her intentions never wandered off.
Not much did she want,
Just the hand of the person she loved
But those were always full
to behold.
She sobbed as night fell
And manned up as day rose
But she always quite broke
When she saw his face that brought hope.
They both knew,
They both felt
But they both were holding on to
A false ray of hope.
I will change,
He will change
But in the end,
No one changed.
Conversations were full of blame,
They spoke as if they were part time enemies,
They said they loved each other
But the truth was they just wanted to stay.
She was afraid to be told,
He was proud to hold
But she knew what needed to be done,
For she no longer was a fool in love.
