Beauty is in the eyes of beholder
And you look at me
with such astonishment,
Makes me wonder
Am I beautiful in your eyes?
Your eyes that reflects me,
Seems too vague to be true;
You gaze at me so lovingly,
Makes me conscious of my doings.
The me in your eyes,
Seems someone I'm not.
Maybe it's on me
To have shown you
Only what you wanted to see,
But can you blame me?
For I just wanted a moment of admiration,
To be an epitome of flattery
To feel love
Like never before.
Once the cast runs off
And you see me for my true self
I couldn't ask for anything but
For you to still be there.
Maybe don't love me,
Maybe don't admire me
But just stay,
For my heart is fragile.
In your eyes then,
I'll see a reflection
Of the beast you see in me
and I will reside
Only in them.
