Chapter 31

Rex pov

When we stop throwing the flour, I go to get the broom. I sweep up the mess and put the broom away. We start making the pasta.

Time skip to after the pasta is made.

Ahsoka goes to gets the plates as I get out the forks. I dish up the food and bring the plates to the dinning room. I sit down at my seat.

A few moments later ahsoka walks out of the kitchen, Morai on her shoulder and holding a small bowl of that fruits and nuts thing I saw her feeding the bird earlier.

"Dinner" I yelled and everyone came down.

Time skip to after dinner

We all cleaned up our plates. We walked to the gathering room and all sat to watch tv.

Anakin pov

"Well, he actually attempted to rape ahsoka a few weeks ago. And um we just got ahsoka back Cause he kidnapped her and tortured her" I hear someone say on the other side of padme's holoprojecter.

Wait ahsokas alive. And padme knows. I walk back inside and sit on the bed. Once padme finishes the call she walks back in.

"And I'm back, sorry business c" she started before I cut her off. "AHSOKA'S ALIVE?!" I yelled at her. She flinched. "She is I don't kn" she started before I cut her off again. "I HEARD THE CALL, THAT WAS REX'S VOICE TELLING YOU ABOUT HOW HE KILLED LUX, WHERE ARE THEY" I yelled again.

"Ani, calm down on, ok, sit down and I'll explain to you" she said calmly. I nodded and sat down. She sat down across from me.

"Yes ahsoka and the 501st are alive. The 501st came to me before the trial. They asked me to help save ahsoka and I said yes. We came up with the plan, they would break her out of the execution room, go in a ship and stay at my house. I offered them all to come and they said yes. So when it turned out the 501st were supposed to exucute her, the plan got easier. So they planted bombs to cover their death" she said explaining.

I'm sitting in shock. I knew my men were close to her, but I didn't think they were that close to her. They risked everything for her. "Can I see them" I asked. I needed to see ahsoka.

"I'll take you to my house tomorrow ok?" She said and I nodded.

Rex pov

The ending credits of the movie rolled up and I looked at my side to see ahsoka, yet again, curled up to me sleeping. "Guys, I think ahsoka finds movies sleepy" I said laughing quietly. They all laughed when they saw what I meant.

I got a call on my holoprojecter. "Guys I'm getting a call from padme" I said as I answered it. When I turned to look at the image, I nearly dropped the projector.

"Hey Rex" siad the person. "Hi uh anakin" I said scared. I look at everyone to see their all scared too. "I know your alive" he said kind of mad. "I um I can explain I" I started before he cut me off. "Thank you for saving her, I'm coming tomorrow" he said before hanging up.

I put it away and looked at my brothers worried. "Guys, what if he turns us in" dogma said worried. "He wouldn't do that, he just thanked Rex!" Fives said, it seemed like he was trying to reassure everyone.

Everyone was still scared. "Do we tell ahsoka" hevy asked. "We could suprise her" Jessie said. "I don't know I think we should tell her" Echo said. "I agree" Hardcase said.

I pick ahsoka up bridal style, Morai flying to my shoulder. "I agree with echo and hardcase, I'll tell her In the morning" I said as I left the room.

I walked to our bedroom and Morai flew to her perch. I gently lay ahsoka down under the covers. I took my shirt off and climbed under the covers. Ahsoka cuddled into me and I wrapped my arm around her protectively. I kissed her forehead and went to sleep.
