Chapter 32

Rex pov

Ok, I know the ring store is around here somewhere. I thought looking around the village. I fiddled with the credits in my cloak pocket. Ah, there it is. I thought as I saw a small ring shop.

I walk in and go to the counter. "Hello, what are you looking for" asked the man behind the counter. "I'm looking for an engagement ring" I said smiling at the man.

He walked to the right and I followed him. He pulls out 3 tray things of rings. "Tell me if you see any you like, also, we can engrave things on the band" the man said smiling.

I looked through the rings until one caught my eye. "I would like this one please" I asked pointing to one.

(But dosn't have the swirl design on the inside of the band)

"Excellent choice, would you like anything Engraved." He asked. I thought about it for a minute. "Um yes please" I said. "What woudl you like." The man asked taking the ring to the engraving machine.

"I 🤍 U Cyar'ika, just do it going around the inside of the band" I said. He nodded and did it. Once he's done he hands it to me to look at. It was perfect. I nod and he walk to the check out. The man put it in a black velvet propose box and put it in a bag. I payed and thanked him.

I left the store and started walking home. I wondered how I should propose. I got on my speeder and drove home. I snuck back in the house. I quietly go upstairs, I heard ahsoka and padme talking in the kitchen.

I go into the gathering room. The boys heard me and turned. "So did you get the ring?" Kix asked. I nodded my head. "Oooo i wanna seeeee" fives said like a little girl. I hand him the box and he opens it. "Wow, it's beautiful" fives said showing everyone. Jessie handed it back to me. "Was it expensive?" Hevy asked.

"No, it was surprisingly cheep" I said putting box back in the bag. "So how you gonna do it?" Dogma asked. "Well I was thinking I could.........

I go to my room and hide the ring, I go back to my brothers and sit on the couch.

Ahsoka pov

"Omg ahsoka" padme said to me as We cleared up the table. "What" i asked. "We should have a girls day!" She said excited. "What's that?" I asked. "Oh, I forgot you grew up with men, we just do girly things!" She said excited. "Like what" I asked. "Hmmmm let's see..... ooo I know, we could bake cookies! I know we both love to cook and bake." She said excited. "Oooo ok, oo, I have an idea" I said.

She looked at me telling me to go on. "What if we make a good batch of chocolate cookies, for us. Then we make a seperate batch that instead of chocolate, we put like small pieces of animal poop for the food, and then we give it to the boys. Well besides Rex, I don't want to kiss a mouth that ate poop" I said. Padme started laughing. "We need to do that! Let's start now!" She suggested. I nodded and we headed to the kitchen.

We get out the ingredients for the good cookies first. We start making the cookies.

After a few moments padme turns to me. "So, how are you and rex" she asked stilling mixing. "Good actually, how are you and anakin" I asked smirking at her. "You knew?" She asked laughing.

"Oh yeah, you two were wayyyyyy to close to be just friends. Also I saw you guys kissing once" I said laughing. She got all red from embarrassment. I laughed.

"So, do you think Rex is gonna propose soon" she asked. I blushed. "I um I don't know honesty" I said. "Well, if he did would you say yes?" She asked putting the cookie mix on the backing tray. "I know it's strange. But I would say yes, even though we have been dating for a short amount of time, I would say yes" I said smiling. She nodded. "I get what you mean" she said.

"Ok, let's get this poop in the cookies, I'll make them a different shape so we don't accidentally eat them" I said. She nodded giggling as well. I shape the cookies into squares. "How are we gonna explain the different shapes?" She asked. "We could say you and me prefer gluten free cookies? So we had to shape them differently." I suggested. She nodded.

We put the cookies in the oven. We sit on the floor and keep talking. "So have you and anakin have got any plans for Valentine's Day, it's in a few days?" I ask petting Morai's head.

"Yeah, just gonna spend the day watching movies. I suggested the walking on the beach, but as you know, anakin HATES sand" she said emphasizing the word hate. We laughed. "I've always wondered does he hate younglings, master Windu or sand more" I asked. Stroking a fake beard, like Obiwan does when he thinks.

We laugh. "It's good spending time with another girl. Like all my friends are boys" I said smiling. "Yeah it's nice to have a friend who isn't from the senate" she said. I nodded.

After 10 more minutes of talking the cookies were done.

We take them out of the oven, and let them cool. After their done cooking we take 3 of the normal ones, and enough of the squares for all the clones. We walk upstairs to hand out the cookies.

I burst in. "Hellooooo we come bearing cookies" I said. They all smiled. I gave rex and circle one and sat next to him. Padme handed out the squares, they didn't even notice the difference in shapes. We all ate the cookies.

"Wow these are really good, what did you put in them" fives said happily. Everyone agreed. I turn to padme. "Do you remember I can't seem to remember" I asked smirking. "Hmm I don't know, you sure you don't remember?" She asked smirking back. "oh my god what was it, oh I remember now. Poop!" I said and all the clones faces went frozen. Rex glared at me. "Rex dont worry, yours didnt have poop" I said kissing his check.

He laughed at the other clones. "What that's not fair" jessie whined. Morai flew to my shoulder and she looked like she was laughing as well. "Well, I'm gonna be kissing that mouth later, and I don't exactly want him eating poop beofre I do that" I said as all the clones besides Rex stare at me. "What, I grew up pulling pranks on people. I grew up around you lot" I said laughing. "Fair enough" echo said. All the comes beside Rex rush down stairs to get water.

"Padme, why do I have a bad feeling we're gonna get pranked" I said kind of nervous. Rex pulled me onto his lap and hugs my waist. Morai flew to her perch. "You probably will" he said looking at me. I laughed. Rex stood up. Still holding my waist and started walking away. "Um bye padme I guess" I said laughing. She laughed as well and waved.

Once we got to our room he sits down on our couch. He sets me on his lap, still hugging my waist.

"I feel like a teddy bear" I said laughing. "I'd be weird if I started doing this to a teddy bare though wouldn't it" he said. I looked at him confused but I soon feel his lips on my neck. He slowly starts trailing kisses around my neck. I smile and relax into him, leaning my back on his chest now.

"You look really good in that shirt" he said against my neck and inbetween kisses. "Thank you" I said looking at him. He looks at me briefly then keeps on kissing my neck. Sending shivers down my spine. He smiled against my neck. He brings his lips off and pulls me close. "What do you wanna do today" I asked. "Well, we could just cuddle and watch movies, some kissing." He said. He picks me up and carries me to the bed. He lays down and pulls the covers on us halfway. I cuddle into his chest and he wraps his arm around me and kisses my forehead. He turns on a movie.
