The empty room

Emma sits down at the table with Max and H as Kai abbey and I look around the room.

" Liam told me not to tell this to anyone but it may help us... " She walks passed abbey and I and crawled under the bed only to come back out with a tiny tin box that had a small lock on it.
" He told me this box holds answers he can't explain... Things he'd stolen from powerful people lay in this box. Thing he wasn't supposed to know about... " We all stare in awe that this rusty little box. Curious to know what's inside H reaches down her shirt and pulls up a key that hung from a string to make a necklace.
" wait... Maybe we shouldn't open it. " Max said before H locked the key in the key hole. Emma spun her head to her side narrowing her eyes at Max,
" WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! CAN YOU HEAR YOURSELF?! " She shouted in his face,
" But think about it!! Anyone he ever told these things to have died!! People are always listening and watching!! " The room fell silent and everyone was staring at Max...
" Max... I love ya but your kinda stupid... " Emma said to him as she rubbed her eyes in disappointment.
" No!! We came this fa- "   
" EVERYONE FREEZE!! " Voices said from outside the room we were cornered in. " Oh no... They're here!! " H said as she hid the key back in her shirt and gave me the box.
" Where are they!! " A male voice demanded from outside.
" their in there! " An other voice said as if they were pleading for their lives...   " Shhh " emma said while shoving H under the bed and gesturing to us to not make a sound. Abbey wrapped her arms around stuffing her face in my arms so she wouldn't make a sound while Kai and max put their fists up like they were getting ready for a fight.

It was quiet for a bit... ' To quiet ' I thought to myself. Til finally loud bangs came from the other side of the door like someone was aggressively knocking. Emma whispered to H to stay under there no matter what happens to us. I found it a little odd that she was keeping extra caution on H but then again, she was like 11 or 12.  " OPEN UP!! I KNOW SOMEONE'S IN THERE!! " A male voice yelled at the door. I glance over to Max and we share a look.
' Oh man... I only signed up to be an investigator... ' I thought to myself holding Abbey and the tin box. I look behind me to see H just staring at me with a look of 100% seriousness.
It celt like she was looking into my soul. I shot her a confused glance and she looked away with a worried look.

" Alright guys we have 1 chance to pull this off... " H whispered loud enough for us to hear, " But I gotta open the door... " Emma looked at H like she was a mad man.

" Are you joking?! Kimberly would never forgive me if I let you out of my sight!! " H looked at me shooting a glance back at me, then down at her shoes.
" Kimberly doesn't need to know... "
' Kimberly!! I know that name!! That's Liam's sisters name!! ' I said to myself. " but what about liam?! " Emma pleaded but H only gently tapped her hands on Emma's cheeks then kissed her forehead.
" Silly. We all know Liam and Kimberly were only together for a week or two. " My mind stopped, my eyes widen, and without even thinking I said aloud,
" Liam dated his sister?! " Which I instantly regretted shoving my hand over my mouth as everyone in the room narrowed their eyes at me.
" Who told you that? " H stepped closer to me, " Uh, liam... " I looked to my left at Emma and Max then to my right at Kai and Abbey then back to H.

" No... They weren't siblings. Nor were they related... They were together... Til he started telling her things. Soon she became one of us. Until she learned something not even liam knew and went missing not even 24 hours later... That's why liam has been trying to find out what it was... And we have reason to believe he figured it out and now he won't tell us cause he doesn't want to lose anyone else... "
Finally the man on the other side of the door started laughing... It was an evil disturbing laugh,
" Ding ding ding... You deserve a price how about you let me in and I'll hand it to you... " he paused

" Hazel. "

So I l know I said I would work on my other stroy but I just couldn't leave you guys hanging like that... So I'll be working on this story a lot more cause there's so much I wanna do!! Also that dude knows H's real name!! If you guys read my other chapters that name would've rung a few bells...
