' I didn't say I love you... But I couldn't... I already know... I won't see her on the other side of this mess... And I couldn't- can't let this be the way she'll remember me... '

Ava ran around rundown hallways with large claw or nail marks that dug into sides of the walls, the wallpaper was falling down or there'd be dead animals in the corners of the rooms. I was bouncing around a lot in her arms and it wasn't helping, at all.

" Ngh... A-ava..? "
She looked down on me with no emotion in her eyes.
" hmm? "
She said looking back up as we turned a corner.
" I- Why am I like this... F-for liam. "
I paused, my mind stopped and I felt my eyes widen without control.
' What am I saying?! '
I said in my head.
" *sigh* I remember being like you... A strange but wonderful feeling roaming around inside your stomach... "
She said smiling to herself. I looked up in shock she'd talk about this subject.
" Ngh... "
I groaned to myself as I wrapped my arms tighter around my waist as my side felt like the cut was only getting larger...

" But Everything that brings you a smile and joy must come to an end... That's why he only used to bring a smile to my face... "
I looked up to catch a glimpse of her emotionless and sorrowful face staring back down at me before she looked away quickly. I looked away as well totally caught off guard by ava.

' Her and liam must've been a thing... '
I mumbled to myself hopping she didn't hear...

As I carefully and quietly made my way down long and dark hallways, I held a knife in one hand and my other fist was clenched with rage boiling in me. I finally came across a room with a single light one and two deep male voices.

" How'd she get out?! "
" we have no idea... But sir- "
" NO BUTS!! WE NEED HER!! "
" Sir... Please listen to what I have to say... "

I walked closer to the door leaning against it to get a better hearing with out standing in front of the door.

" What if we use your son... "
The men fell silent for a second.
" Hmm, interesting... Maybe he could be useful... Go fetch my son and bring him to me. "
" Of course. "

A man walked out of the room pushing the door open. I used it to my advantage and stood beside the door while it covered me. Soon the man closed it and for a split second before noticing me I eyed him all over.

' He-he's the guy from the bar!! '
I thought to myself. He finally shut the door all the way and soon we made eyes contact for a split second.
His disgusting grey blue eyes stared into my lime green eyes with a shocked expression.

" HOW- "
Before he finished his sentence I jumped at him and we rolled into an other room across the hall. We came to a stop and I sat on top of him holding the collars of his shirt.

" YOU!! "
He said to me almost yelling. I grinned down at him. He was defenceless now.
" Yeah, it is me. I'm surprised you were able to remember with that small head of yours. "

I chuckled as he frowned at me. His glare didn't faze me now that I know how weak this kid was.

" Where's shylow?! "
I asked making him think I didn't know she was safe with ava... Probably not even here anymore.

He started smiling from one end of his face to the other. This large and creepy grin sat on his face as he calmly chuckled a bit.
" Oh... You won't find her here... "
He said moving his eye contact to my shirt that had a bit of blood on it from Shylow's cut.

" I see you enjoy enduring pain... "
He calmly looked back up at me.
" We're not here to talk about a little blood, unless you wanna talk about my angry boiling blood... "
I responded making his grin disappear.

" Well, liam... It's been fun playing games but we know you know where shylow is... "
He softly said as a new grin appears on his face. I was shocked, how did they know?!

" Yeah right- "
" Where is she heading? "
A click sound came from behind me along with my fathers voice.
" Tell me where the girl is and I won't pull the trigger... "

I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I held my breath trying to think of a way out...

' I got it!! '
I raised my eyes to meet my fathers eyes as he held a hand gun to my face. I gently smirk to myself.

' Goodbye shylow... I love you. '
I said in my head....

" Then pull the trigger..... "
