I thought I felt something inside me when I heard the name Liam and not to get in his way...

" Um... But... He's already- "

" Abbey? "
A male voice startled Emma and I as it came from behind me.

I spun around while Emma stood behind me. I looked up a bit to make eye contact with,

" Devin!! Hi- uh, h-how are- what are you doing... Here, with us... Right now..? "

I mentally slapped my face and cringed at my attempt to talk to the most hansom man I've ever seen.

" I noticed you ran off so I wanted to ask you.... If you were fine and if you wanted to dance? "

His voice was so soft and a gentle smile spread across his face as he reached his hand for me to grab. I smile to him and look to Emma who was not happy...

" Sorry devin. But abbey is busy right now. "
Emma said stepping in between us totally giving him attitude as she snarled at him crossing her arms.

I noticed his one eye lid twitch a bit like he was about to lose his cool, but just before he did a very pretty young lady, maybe 1 year younger than me can up. She didn't speak to us but she just glared at me then walked off with devin as he breathed deeply.

" what was that?! "
I shouted a bit in Emma's face as she turned around.

" Are you joking!! I just saved our mission!! "
Emma said calmly but you could tell she was mad.

" Emma!! I liked him!! You just ruined my chance with a cute guy!! "
I said raising my hands in the air going off on Emma.

She started rubbing her temples as I continued yelling at her. She finally sighed to herself and glared an Emma glare at me.

" Lets take this outside... Shall we? "
She gestured to the door. I gladly nodded and we both stormed out.

" ABBEY!! DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF RIGHT NOW?! "
Emma shouted in my face.

She got so close Abbey could see the tears that were forming in her eyes from the anger she was letting out.

" EMMA!! LISTEN TO ME, I LIKE HIM, OKAY?! IM GOING BACK IN THERE AND I'LL BE CHATTING WITH HIM!! Don't try to stop me!! "
I said getting in her space and face making it clear I didn't need her to mother me anymore.

Emma looked down to her feet then back up to me but said nothing... At least until she said,

" Fine... Go have fun with prince charming then. "
And walked away.

POV ( Emma )

I looked down to my shoes, clenching my fists tightly. I felt betrayed more than anger...

" Fine... Go have fun with prince charming then. "
I said before turning around and walking back to the party.

" Where's abbey?! "
Max said running up to me obviously worried.

I pushed passed him saying nothing and headed to the bar. I seated myself and asked for a strong one.

" So, emma right? "
A males voice said from behind me.

I didn't even bother to turn and face them. I was at my limits with this party and was quickly stepping over that line.

" You seem like you need a friend right now~ "
The male voice said as it trailed to my side.
