Abbey's staying

I turned away waiting for him to get the hint its time to go... But this time Abbey wasn't coming home with us.

Max finally made a long and painful sigh then walked up beside me clearly taking the hint. I could tell he was hurt and obviously didn't want to leave without abbey...

" Humph, Why the long faces? "
We both jumped to the sound of a deep male voice coming from behind us.

I shot and evil glare at the man behind me until I saw a dirty blonde, young man standing there. He had a very nice suit on along with some other expensive items. He was handsome and boy did he know it.

" Leaving the party so soon? "
He said with a cocky tone as he stepped in closer to me filling the large gap that sat between us.

" Sorry liam, gotta go. "
I rolled my eyes at him with attitude as I turned my back to him.

" Well it seems your missing the third wheel... "
He seemed confused but at the same time, he knew abbey was a pretty girl. Of course a guy would've asked for her to stay longer.

" She's... Um... Abbey's staying. "
I muttered out as I felt the anger boil all over again.

" Why- "

" Liam... "
I cut him off with a glare that could make a grown man shake. He took the hint to shut his yap as I stood frozen for a second trying to calm myself down.

Don't punch anyone... Don't hit anything...

I continued to repeat to myself as we finally started to make our way across the room and to the large gold doors at the front.

We had to cross the dance floor to get to the exit meaning we almost lost Max in a small crowd of young women around his age who thought he looked handsome and started flirting.

" We're almost there- "
I said til my eyes gazed apon... Devin and abbey....

" Emma... Oh no. "
Max looked over to me and noticed my gaze and decided to follow it.

" Abbey... "
I mumbled as I watched abbey give devin a kiss as they danced the night away.

" Emma! Come on- "
" LIAM! "
" Yes... Emma. "
Liam came up from behind us shaking a bit.

" Watch Max while I'm gone... "
" Oh... Okay? "
" I have some important business to attend to. "

" Emma- "
Max said trying to grab my shoulder, but liam immediately grabbed his hand before he dared to lay a finger on me.

" Max, max! That's not Emma anymore. She's in a state where she can't control her anger... Don't get in her way and don't touch her when she's like this. I swear you will not live to see another day if you get on THIS side of her. "

Liam continued to explain what was wrong with me as he tugged and dragged Max out of there.

" DEVIN!! "
I screamed over the music and conversations of the others around the house.

It went dead silent and all eyes were on me, including Abbey's. And boy let me tell you, she did not look happy to see me.

" What's going on? "
Devin asked. He seemed shocked I was still at his party.

" You know what's wrong. "
I said taking my high heels off.

Soon the crowd around us started whispering and having small one on one conversations about whats about to go down.

" Is she starting something? " 
" I saw him kiss that other girl... Maybe this is his girlfriend..! "
" What a rumpus "
" Very loud! "
