What is going on ?!

" on my way home... Dad. "

We were back on the road looking for liam. This time kai and max road on his bike while Emma, Abbey, Hazel and I stayed in the car. It was dead silent and awkward.
" So... Umm, why's liam running? "
Everyone let out painful sighs as if I wasn't learning anything.

" Have you listened go anything?! "
Emma snapped at me annoyed.
" But we have a box he doesn't want people to know what's in it- "
" look Shylow, we know just as much as you do... " Hazel said a bit calmer than Emma.
" What about relatives? Are any family members still alive? "
Hazel placed her hand on my shoulder,
" as far as I'm aware his sister Kimberly was killed... His mom died and his dad was claimed missing on February 21 1999. "

' That date... February 21... That was my 9th birthday. '

" It was liam's 11th birthday... He told me when we were growing up. "
Hazel added falling silent looking down at her legs. The car ince again became quiet as I started thinking.
" where's his- your homes? " I said gesturing to hazel.
" um, a bit far from here... It's called Narsen, but it's the other way. "
" Do you think he went there? " Abbey added looking to emma who remained quiet for a second,
" Let's hope so... " She said spining the steering wheel around causing the car to do a fast U turn then sped off.

( Liam )
I believe I fell asleep at some point during the ride because I jumped to the sound of Devin slamming him door.
" Come on ava, we're here. " He whispered to her as she woke up quietly hopping out.
" what's going on? " I asked, obviously startling them as they both jumped a bit.
" Oh my gosh liam!! "
Devin said as he pressed his hand to his chest.
" why are you guys so quiet? "
" We were being quiet cause you were stil sleeping like a baby. " He said laughing.

I hopped out of the car to see we were right outside a very large house, it had huge black gates behind the car with two men in small booths on the left and right.
There was a pretty big staircase leading up to the house that was made of a very nice and smooth stone with a beautiful green garden surrounding the house like a lake surrounding a kingdom in fairytales.
Massive black doors with gold outlines and handles swing open as teo men open the doors and one stands in the middle.
He was wearing a nice white suit with a black shirt underneath, perfectly tucked in with stunning fashion glasses and gery-ish dirty blonde hair.

" Gentlemen. "
He said snapping his fingers and the teo men by the door came up to him,
" Their luggage. "
the two men rushed down to us taking ava and devin's suitcases and carrying them up the stairs. I didn't bring luggage since I'm always on the run. We followed the men up the stairs as devin and ava admired everything we passed.
Their jaws were dropped to the floor while I had my arms crossed and carried a non impressed look on my face.

" Welcome! How was the drive here. "
He said gesturing to me.
" I've seen worse... "
I said rolling my eyes at him and I knew he knew what I meant.
" This place is huge!! "
Devin said looking over to ava as the two shared large smiles.
" I'm glad you like it. My son here- "
He said pointing to me but was cut off by devin,
" THIS IS YOUR DAD?! "
He said getting all in my face.
I rolled my eyes pushing his head away from my face.
" Yes. "

I look over to my dad who was grinning back at me. His grin disappeared and he turned over to ava with a bit of a smirk as he walked over to her.
" and what may be your name my lady? "
He said kneeling down pulling her hand out from beside her to gently kiss it.
" She's mute. "
I said with very little emotion. He looked back to me narrowing his eyes then looked back to her with a gentle smile.
" shall we? " He said turning around walking into the house.
We followed behind him not knowing what would lay ahead...

We finally made it to the town Hazel was talking about. Abbey and Hazel had fallen asleep but I was wide awake the whole time looking at pictures of liam.
" Are you ever gonna stop looking through those folders of liam? "
Emma asked breaking the silence causing me to jump a bit.

" Your like, in love with him. "
She added. I rolled my eyes at that statement.
" I'm not in love with him... I just- "
" Ouuu!! Are we talking about boys now?! "
Abbey said more hyped than ever.
" Ok ok, so emma don't kill me, but I think Max is kinda cute~ "
" awe "
Hazel added scaring me a bit.
" when did you two get up?! "
I asked.
" we were up the whole time!! "
Abbey said excitedly.

" what the- "
Emma was cut off by herself as she stepped on the gas sending the car flying up the road. She took sharpe turns causing hazel and I to smack into each other.
" PUT THOSE AWAY!! "
She yelled at me as I shoved the pictures into my purse.

" WHAT'S GOING ON?! "
I raise my voice a bit over the strong and loud wind coming from the windows as we sped down the road.
" Abbey!! Take the wheel!! " emma said as she leaned out the window throwing something behind us.
I look behind me to see three cars chasing us.
" CLOSE THE WINDOWS!! "
Hazel yelled and emma sped up away as the cars behind us exploded.
" OH MY GOSH EMMA!! WHAT DID WE JUST DO?! "
I screamed a bit.
" I just saved all your lives!! "
Abbey high fived emma as hazel laughed in victory, but I sat still.

I was shocked and terrified out of my mind!! I never put much thought into what these girls are actually capable of doing to me...
