I'm done with this!!

I washed my face off with a warm wet cloth and left the washroom not really caring about the phone.

I entered my room once again to come face to face with a mad expression but it quickly vanished into an evil grin that spread from one cheek to another.

Weird...

He made his way to me. I knew where this was going so I avoided making dye contact but watched his body language carefully.

" Abbey... Where'd you go?~ "

He paused and looked me up and down. I looked him dead in his eyes and said nothing.

" Abbey~ Are you... Ignoring me?~ "
He seemed so annoyed and irritated but tried not to show it.

I once again didn't answer and looked away. I raised my left hand and started scratching my arm nervously.

" Look, devin. We need to talk. "

His cocky smirk vanished to a very serious and scary look. He didn't answer but he moved in closer to me.

" Hmm? "

" Devin... You hit me earlier!! You can't just hit- "

" Why not? "

He interrupted me with the most disturbing thing he's ever said.

" What do you mean why not?! I'm your girlfriend!! We live together!! "

" Only gives me a better reason to show you who's really the boss around here. "

" Devin!! What's wrong? Are you feeling okay?? "
I asked worried for his well being.

" I'm fine you rat!! "

I froze wide eyed at the name he called me. I was in pure shock.

He quickly shoved a hand over his mouth looking shocked as well at what he had just said.

" ...... Dev- "

" Move. "

Devin said pushing me aside as he walked to the door with his head facing down. He didn't even apologize to me!!

He slammed the door behind him making me bounce from my spot.

I didn't get much sleep that night... I didn't feel safe in this house anymore, but I stayed. I didn't feel respected here, but I remaind quiet.

I was wide awake and still in shock of what Devin had said and done...

This isn't devin... This has gotta be a prank. Right?

I was soon broken out of my thoughts from a quiet and gentle knock on my door that didn't sound like Devin's hard and loud knocks.

I slowly got out of bed fixing my shorts and sweater from laying down and rolling around and made my way to the door.

I opened it just enough to stick my head out to see a young female figure standing infront of my door holding a small blanket and in tears.

" M-marry?! "
I whispered in shock to see her up so late.

I whipped my head to the side looking at the clock on my wall. It was hard to make out but from what I saw it was 2:49am.

" W-what happened? "
I said opening the door and letting her whimper as she walked in trying to sniffle but not make to much sound.

" I- heard you guys fighting. A-a-nd I coul-couldn't sleep. "
She almost bursted out but quickly caught herself by forcefully slapping a hand over her mouth.
