Devin... Whats gotten into you?!

Whats gotten into devin? Maybe he's just feeling sick and just wanted to leave... But my cheek still hurts...

We finally got home and I rushed to my room, slamming and locking the door behind me. I pressed my back against the door and slid my way to the ground where I curled into a ball and cried.

Devin... What's gotten into you?!

I repeated in my mind so no one but myself could hear.

* Knock knock *

" Abbey~ "
Devin said from the other side of the door.

I wasn't expecting that. I jumped a bit but quickly rubbed my tears away and put on my best fake smile.

I spun around while standing up and opened the door slowly to become face to face with devin.

He looked me up and down. His attention turned to my red and sort of swollen cheek.

" Oh abbey. "
Devin smiled as he reached his hand out to touch my face.

I got so scared I started flinching and shaving violently. It was so bad he pulled his soft hand away and gave me weird look.

" Anyways.I'm going out with..... A friend. You can stay here. "

Then without even saying a "goodbye" or a "love you" he slammed the door on my face.

I couldn't hold back anymore and bursted out with rivers falling from my eyes.

I ran over to my bed and collapsed on it. I hid myself under the covers. I hugged my pillow tightly in my arms as I once again curled up and cried myself to sleep.

By the time I woke up the sun had only started to set. I sat up rubbing my eyes remembering what happened at the park.

I fell asleep in the dress...

I whispered to myself as I looked down at the dress I wore to the park.

I got up and hopped out of bed and made my way to the large wooden closet.

I snooped around a bit for a new outfit and ended up finding an over sized navy blue sweater and some red comfy shorts.

I slowly walked to my door trying to not think of the park, but it was circling my mind over and over again.

He's not abusive or anything... Just tired maybe...

I kept mentally telling myself to chill out and that it was no big deal.
By the time I had gotten out of my thoughts I almost walked into the door.

" Leaving so soon~ "

I nearly had a heart attack from the sound of Devin's voice coming from behind me.

" AHh- oh um, I was just gonna look for you. "

I said as I watched devin stand up from a chair by were I keep all my makeup station place thingy. He made his way across the room with a small and faint grin that I barely made out.

" Is that so~ "
His voice was soft but daring to cross the line of soft and seductive.

The closer he got to me the more I smelt something weird. Alcohol mixed with clean laundry maybe..? I couldn't quite tell but it wasn't a pleasant scent.

He finally made his way to me and his body was inches away from mine. It was uncomfortable for me to be this close to him after what happened.
