In one second everything was okay, and in another, the mansion was blowing up. Thankfully, Peter managed to get everyone out in time. Every student and teacher were stranded outside of the blown mansion. "Peter, I swear if this is your doing..." Lillian started. "No it was Alex..." Hank said. Alex was lying on the ground, unconscious. Lillian immediately kneeled down and started healing him. "You could at least take my book. I really loved it." She pointed out.
"There's nothing more I can do." She said after a few seconds with a frown. "He's healed but needs rest." She stood up and looked in the direction of the ruined mansion. She started to run. "Lizzy wait! " Rose ran after her. Lillian stopped and stood at the edge of ruins. "Look what happened to the school. You really expect that the book survived it?"
Jean, Scott and some blue guy ran to them. "Where is Alex? Where is my brother?" A guy with very strange glasses asked. "He's there." Lillian pointed at the blonde guy, still laying on the ground. Scott wanted to run to him but Rose stopped him. "Wait!" She pointed at the sky.
A giant helicopter landed on the grass. "Get down!" Jean yelled.
A big blast of energy came from the helicopter. Everybody fell down. "Come here," Jean said to the twins. As they hid behind the corner, Jean whispered with a worried expression: "They took Peter and Wanda. We have to help them."
"We can't leave my brother here," Scott said. "He's okay. I healed him, he just needs to sleep."
"You helped my brother, I'll help your siblings." She smiled. "We need to get to that helicopter. How are we going to do that?"
"I can teleport us there." The blue guy said with a German accent. "You are a teleporter?" The boy nodded with determination in his eyes. "Can you get us in?" He nodded again. "Let's do that."
"You need to hold hands." They all held each other. The blue guy closed his eyes and started to count. "Thee, two, one." Boom. The group teleported into the helicopter. "Strange feeling," Rose said. Suddenly the helicopter started to move. "We need to go!"
"I can't get us out!" The blue guy shouted. "Jean, don't let them go!"
"I can't get into their minds.. ." She whispered. "Well, we are screwed," Lillian said and looked at Jean. "What are we going to do?"
"Wait."
The twins sat by their siblings.
"By the way, nobody introduced us. I'm Rose Maximoff." The older twin said. "I'm Scott Summers."
Lillian stopped stroking her brother's hair. "Lillian Maximoff." They shook hands. "I'm Kurt Wagner." The blue guy said.
"Lillian."
"Rose." A dead silence followed after their little introduction."So, the professor got kidnapped and our best defenders are here knocked out-" Scott complained. "Scott can you please shut up?! I won't want those men to hear us." Rose said trying not to shout.
They flew about a few hours then, the weather got colder "Is it just me or it got really cold?" Rose asked. "Yes, we are in some hills," Jean said while looking out. "And we are landing." She added. She was right. The helicopter was slowly getting lower. "How are we going to go outside if Jean can't use her powers?" Kurt said. "It all should stop working when the door opens," Lillian said. "It's something like an electromagnetic field, but for our powers." She continued.
"Please, stop. Don't get too smart. It's annoying sometimes." Her older twin said. "Because it's too intelligent for you."
She smirked. "I think you should shut up." The girls didn't even notice they already landed. When the door opened the group quickly got out. Following the men inside, they suddenly stood out outside a huge door."Why is it taking you so long?" Scott asked. "I can't get inside. They have the field in like in the helicopter." Kurt answered. "Watch out, it's the electromagnetic field." Scott pointed out. "Hahaha, very funny. I see that sense of humor you have in your family." Lillian mumbled. "Right, but there's got to be a way to cut the power," Scott said as if nothing happened. "Well, we need to find the main generator and short the power in this place."
"You are a clever one. Where should we go?" Rose teased her sis. "I might be the clever one, but I don't know this place. It's not like I'm home."
"And can't you short the power from here. It's electricity and you know." She tried to convince her sister to use some advantage of her power. "No." Was a quick answer from Lillian. "You know what happened. And I can't feel the electricity the way like I feel metal."
"So, I guess we need to find that main generator or whatever." The group walked through the place and got to the arsenal. "This is the way out."
"Yes Scott, we noticed." From nowhere they heard a shotgun. Kurt was the quickest and teleported them back to the door.
"Hear me." The voice if Charles Xavier echoed in everybody's minds. "That's the professor."
"This is a message. A message for every man, woman, and mutant. You have lost your way. But I have returned. All your buildings, towers will fall.
There's nothing you can do to stop what is coming. This message is for one reason alone. To tell the strongest. Those with the greatest power... protect those without. ""He talked to me," Jean said.
"I think he talked to all of us." Lillian rolled her eyes. "What did he say?" She asked. "He sent me a hidden message. I know where he is." They looked at each other. "C'mon we need to find the generator before someone starts shooting at us again. Because I feel they're coming."
