Alex, Raven, and Hank walked into the war room. "Why did you call us here, Charles?" Alex asked. "I have a mission for you." The three of them looked at each other. "Just us? Then it's either too dangerous for the kids or too easy so we won't need them." Hank rolled his eyes at Alex's comment.
"It's not easy and it could go horribly if you got distracted. That's why the teens aren't going. You guys know how to work as a team." The professor explained. "So, what are we doing?" Raven asked.
"A rescue mission. There's one girl at Stryker's hideout, a mutant. She's alone and scared. She's been there alone since Cairo. All clear?" The three of them nodded. "You're leaving now. So go suit up."
"Just like old times." Alex said, sitting in the jet. "Yeah but we're older and our team isn't so big anymore." they all began to remember the good old times with their former mutant friends and teammates.
In a few, the jet was landing on some field next to a dam. "Heads up. She's one of Stryker's experiments. She could be dangerous." Raven said, entering the compound.
"Does anybody remember her name?" Alex asked while walking through the halls. "I don't think that Charles told us." Hank answered looking around. "That's bad, we could call for her."
"You know I forgot what a pain in the ass you are at the missions." Hank said. They heard footsteps in one of the rooms so they entered it. It was just another lab room but in this one was a teenage girl, just standing there.
"Hey." The girl shot a glare at Raven. She could be 16. She had white hair and blue eyes. They were bright and clear, like the sky. "You don't need to be afraid. We are here to help you." Raven said, moving towards the girl.
"Oh yeah? That's exactly what the man who took me here said. Don't be scared, I just want to help you. He dragged me here and experimented on me. I have no idea what he did to me." she seethed.
Raven sighed. "I know what he did to you. You're not the only one. But now you're safe. We can take you..." She couldn't finish her sentence because the girl attacked her. She jumped onto Raven and they both fell on the floor. "I don't need your help." The girl got off of Raven and ran away. Alex and Hank just stared in disbelief.
"What are you looking at? Go get her!" Raven yelled at the boys who were still looking at her. They ran to the hallway then looked at each other when they stumbled upon two different paths. "I'm going that way." Alex pointed right. Hank nodded, ready to go left when they heard a gunshot.
Both of them ran to the left. At the entrance were standing four men and the girl. "Hey, stand where you are." Two of the men pointed their guns at Hank and Alex. "No one will get hurt if you let us take the girl." One of them said.
"No one but the girl. No chaps, no can do." Alex said teasingly. The man fired and the bullet grazed Alex's head by a few inches. "Take me seriously. The next one will be in your head."
Alex blasted his plasma at them and Hank went to get the girl. Once he got to her they went aside to safety. In the meantime, Raven came and grabbed one of the men by neck. "Where is Stryker?" The man only laughed. "You think I'll tell you, babygirl? Hail Hydra." He said before chewing something.
Raven dropped the man when some white substance came out of his mouth. "Did he just...?" Alex looked at him, not finishing the question. "Poison himself? Looks like." Raven turned to them.
"Where is the girl?" They looked around and noticed that the girl disappeared. They ran outside. "She could be anywhere now."
"So, mission abort?" Alex asked looking at her. Raven nodded, wishing Peter was with them. "We can still look from the above ." Hank pointed at the jet. "Let's go."

"I don't know about you but I don't see anything." Alex said as they slowly flew above the forest. "No heat signal?" Raven asked. "Nothing." Hank replied and sighed in defeat. "Alright, mission failed. Damn it. Let's go back."

"What did he say?" Charles asked, looking at his friends who just came back to report the mission. "Hail Hydra." Raven said once again.
"Hail Hydra. I have never heard of it." Charles whispered to himself. "Me neither. I know Stryker and his men. He never mentioned anything like this." Raven said.
"Maybe since Cairo he started to work with them." The professor nodded at Alex's input. "That could be it. Also, don't feel bad about the girl. It was her decision. We must respect it. You can go." the guys left Charles' office but Raven stayed.
"You should have seen her. She was so scared. I can't imagine what he did to her." Raven whispered. Charles moved to hold her hand. "I promise you, we will get him. And he will face the consequences of his actions. Now, go get some rest, sis. You deserve it." She smiled and kissed his head before leaving.
Lillian bumped into Alex as they walked through the corridor. "Well, thank you for telling me that you're going on a mission. I was waiting for you in the training room." She said angrily. "We left as soon as we got the assignment." Alex argued.
"I talked to the professor. You had enough time to write a note and pass it to me." She was breathing heavily. "What, you were worried?" He asked teasingly. "Yes!" She answered before even realizing what just came out.
Without warning, he pressed his lips to hers. Lillian immediately pulled away, her eyes wide. "Alex, this is wrong and you know that. Our age gap-" He kissed her again. "We can work it out." She pushed him away. "We can't. I'm... I'm sorry." She quickly said and ran away.

Lillian stormed into Olivia, Nicole, and Ororo's room. She immediately froze when she saw Peter and Nicole having a make-out session on her bed.
"Sorry, I'll come later. Don't be bothered." She quickly left before they could say something. "Where were we?" Peter asked teasingly. "There's something wrong with your sister and all you can think of is... this?" Nicole got off of him and ran to find Lillian.
Jean alerted girls to come to their spot. "What happened?" Jean sat next to Lillian, hugging her. "I will tell you but you can't tell anybody." She got nods from all of the girls. "Alex kissed me. I know it's wrong. He's ten years older and my... trainer." Rose snorted. "Age is not a problem. It's just a number."
"Yeah and prison is still just a place. He said we can work it out but it's just too complicated. I don't know what to do next."
"I'm sure whatever you do, it will come from your heart." Jean stroke her hand.
