AEDION'S POV
I wake up to the sun's rays caressing my face, with the sound of the bird's chirping and the warmth the sun is emitting in the room, I can tell it's now morning.
Remembering where I slept off, I quietly wake up without even sparing a glance towards, where Avyanna is sleeping as I am hell bent on leaving her room before she wakes up. I slowly reach for the door knob and almost take my first step out until, I hear her soft, angelic voice.
"You know, you don't have to sneak out?" Avyanna amusingly asks. "You woke me up when you were snoring a few hours ago."
I slowly turn around with an apologetic smile "I actually don't snore you know." As I finally look at her. She looked so beautiful with her messy, sleep hair and her lazy morning eyes. This is the sight I would always want to wake up to. Now I am very sure I made the right decision, when I told the Moon goddess I choose Avyanna even if it means spending the rest of eternity grovelling for her forgiveness.
*START OF FLASHBACK*
"I have decided." I determinedly respond to the Moon goddess. I have thought about it and now I am certain of what I want. After what the Moon goddess told me about the elders and their laws, I now know that I should be there for my mate. To hell with the damned laws.
The Moon goddess raises one eyebrow in question "And what it is?"
"I choose Avyanna. I choose to be her mate. I want her to belong to me and as I will belong to her. Moon goddess, please give me another chance, I cannot let her go. I now know what my mistakes and I am more than willing to correct them." I plead to her.
She smiles at me satisfied and convinced with my answer.
"Okay, I will give you one more chance. But this is the first and last time you get this chance, always remember, Avyanna has feelings too, feelings that you broke and it's now your duty to make it right." She says with no hint of joking in her tone. She is dead serious and I am most certainly not going to make a goddess angry.
I nod.
"Yes, I will. Please don't worry about that."
She searches my face for any sign of deceit, which she will not find as I am hell bent on getting my mate back even before I met, Selene the Moon goddess.
"Very well." She answers
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"I guess it's because you were in an uncomfortable position on that couch." Responds Avyanna as she snaps me out of my flashback or dream of earlier on. She is sitted in the bed looking straight at me with a blank stare.
I guess she is not free to show any emotion towards me because she does not know how to act around me. Well, who can blame her.
I scratch the back of my neck as my nerves spike up.
"Well, I guess you are right." J respond to her assumption, of which it's true, I don't snore unless I am in a position, I cannot breath right.
"She looks at me for a while until she turns her head and looks outside the window. I cannot lie, the action she just pulled makes me feel guilty for what she is going through but it pains me more that she is distancing herself from me and Rowan.
I sigh and walk towards her bed. I see that she tenses up a bit. I stop in my tracks, trying to not make her more uncomfortable than she already is.
"Please do not be like that, Avyanna." I practically start begging her.
"Oh I'm Avyanna now? What happened to bitch, abomination and your most favorite "she devil"?" She states whilst looking out the window
