THE WITCH'S CASTLE IN ANTARCTICA
AVYANNA'S POV
"You are already done?"asks Aedion as he walks into the room we were occupying last night. Apparently there was only one guest room, so Aedion and I had to share. We found it a bit difficult to share especially the bed, but we eventually came to a compromise whereby I ended up with the bed as Aedion asked for extra blankets and slept on the floor.
He just walked into the room after showering with a towel hanging around his waist. For a moment I was stuck in admiration as this man looked like a greek god. I had woken up first, took a shower , made a call to my grandparents and Hunter,Rhysand. God, if they only knew how much I miss them. Apparently nothing much has happened back home. After, I changed back and im now getting ready for the day. Aedion followed after me and now is done showering.
"yes, I was actually leaving the room to go downstairs, I will wait for you there."I state as I pass Aedion and leave for the stairs. It was getting a little uncomfortable and my thoughts were now a mess as I was enjoying the view of Aedion in his towel.Ugh!!!!Damn my horny thoughts. Get a grip Avy.
"Morning my dear, please sit down. I am almost done with breakfast. I hope toast and a cup of tea is enough for you. Im not really good in the cooking department."He chuckles a bit
I gently smile as I say "No, its okay. I just need something light to eat anyway."
He just nods
We sit in a comfortable silence for some time until he breaks it.
"my dear, how do you feel?"He suddenly asks
I look at him trying to figure out what he is trying to say "Feel? about what?"
He stops spreading the butter on thr bread and looks directly at me.
"About the whole breaking a mate bond thing?You know having a mate is a speacial girt and some people are lucky to be given one and spend the rest of their lives with their other half." He says the last part with sadness. "Do you really want to do this, why did you choose to do this?"He continues to ask a question one after another.
I look at him with a bit of pity for myself at the whole situation and sigh
"Honestly speaking this is not my choice and not my free will. I dont know if you have heard of me but I am Avyanna Johnson."I remain quiet staring at him trying to see if he is catching up but it seems like he is still lost.
I continue
"IM a hybrid."
"SO? there are so many hybrids in Kova>"He questions confused
I shake my head "Yes but I am not just any hybrid, I am half werewolf and half vampire."
He now has a face of realisation
"So I was rejected because I have vampire blood in me. For some sick twisted reason Aedion has for the hatred of vampires, he doesnt want to be my mate at all." I further explain my situation to Professor Madrich for some reason I feel like I can trust him or maybe its because for a while I can vent out my problems to someone who is willing to listen and who is a complete stranger that wont take either my side or Aedion but will give me accurate advice.
Professor Madrich sadly looks at me as he walks towards me.
"My dear, dont be sad about this. I was saying that never loose your mate just because I did nit know he was like this. But the advice I can give you today is that , you are making the right decision, if someone cannot love you , then let him go. Get rid of him and set yourself free. He does not deserve you. No one should ever make their mate feel what you felt."He gives me a peptalk.
I sadly smile at him knowing that my brain definitely agrees with him but my heart and obviously wolf disagree strongly.
"Okay, lets eat ."I nod and take my food. As we eat in silence <Aedion walks in.
"Im ready, lets go."He orders
We finish eating and head out to the town library.

"I found the book, lets open the portal now."says Thomas. We were looking for a book he said was called "THE ROAD TO THE GALAXY" weird name right!Im with you on that one. However, I kind of understand the title of the book because it is a book of opening portals to go to the other realms in the galaxy, hence, the road to the galaxy.
"Okay now follow me."
Thomas leds us to the most quiet part of the library, that looks like it has been rarely used. We kept walking down. Until we come to a dead end. There is a wall.
Thomas stands infront of it and more slightly to the left shelf and pulls down a book. The moment he does that he , the walls open and we walk in following after Thomas. We reach the middle of the room and the lights automatically turn on.
"This room is where people come and open a portal to a certain place in the galaxy."Thomas explains
"So anyone can come here?"Aedion asks Thomas
"No not anyone. Only a few important people know about this room or book. Most people that come across this book think its a mystic book. The only people that know the full extent of this book are obviously the King and Queen of every kingdom in Kova, their councils and me of course but no one knows I know about it here in this kingdom."
"Why is it only the leaders and their councils know about this and why are the elves the ones who have to keep it?"I ask as I am curious why the authorities are the only ones who know
"Because if everyone had access to it there would be no order in this realm and the elves have it because they are in charge of the in and out of the Kova realm." Answers Aedion
I simply nod in understanding
"Okay now lets get this show on the road." I say
"I want you to stand to my right and you to my left. We stand in a triangular motion and be abdolutely silent when I chant out the spell for opening the earth portal."
We stand where we were told to stand.
The Professor opens the book and closes his eyes as he chants "Deep withing your soul is a door that opens into a world of wonders, with more realms and to you galaxy guardians we ask you to give us a chance to explore one of them. Open the door and let us through to earth."
The portal opens immediately after he is done chanting out the spell. It was a big black hole which looked more of a whirlpool, it had vicious whirls that looked to dangerous to pass through , it made me second doubt my desicion to continue on with this expedition. I look over to Aedion who looks more determined than ever to go through it and in that moment I knew there was no chance of backing out, I was going whether I like it or not.
"Please remeber the information I told you now go through before it closes on someone comes in and catches us."
Aedion walks over to me grabs my hand and we jump through the portal. Now there really is no turning back.
