CLÍODHNA IN THE PICTURE ABOVE
AEDION'S POV"Hey man, what's up?" Asks Xanth as he walks into my office. I had called him in to talk about the apparent change in my kingdom. I swear this girl gives me one stress after another. Xanth takes a sit on the chair in front of my desks , with one leg over the other and a bored expression plastered on his face.
"It seems like your mate or ex mate , however you want to call her, has dropped a bombshell on you. I have to say she is a badass, she really did hit you where it hurts." He states as he laughs at me.
If looks could kill , he would be dead by now. The rambling idiot has the guts to laugh at me and the whole scene earlier.
"Just shut up okay? I have enough problems as it. It seems like I can never get rid of her." I say more to myself than him.
"Tell me something, Aedion." Xanth says as he leans onto my desk and rests his arms on it. "Are you still going to give Morrigan false hope of her being the Future Queen Luna or are you going to keep lying to yourself that you feel nothing for your own true mate?" He questions me.
"What are you saying, obviously I do not want Avyanna, she means nothing to me?" I quickly defend myself.
He looks at me with an expression that showed he knew I was laying. If there is anyone who can read me like a book is him. I can never fool him the same way I can read him.
"Avyanna? What now , you are first name bases now?" He replies smugly." Its no longer she devil, bitch or the abomination? "
I remain quiet.
"Okay fine. Let's say I believe you that you don't like your mate even for just a bit, then tell me what is bothering you so much. I am sure it cannot be that she took over half your kingdom, you know very well that if you want it back, you can get it. So could you please elaborate for me what's the problem." He says as he leans back in his sit and folds his arms. "Wait, could it be that it bothered you about the man she had as a plus one, could it be that you are irritated by the fact that he might be ruling beside her and not you, could it be...
" Okay, you made your point. Yes, I might care about her just a little and I am jealous but I will blame it on the bond not my true feelings. I mean there is nothing wrong with her but only that she is a hybrid, why couldn't the moon goddess bless me with just an average , normal she wolf."
"Look man, mates are a blessing no matter who or what they are, don't push her away whilst breaking her for too long because someone will pick her up and mend her broken pieces and it will be too late to reverse it when you finally regret it. Besides, she is your destined mate, how can you ever get rid of her, she will always be a part of you, unless if you are miraculously saying that there is a way someone can break your bond. That is when you could be able to forget her" He rants out, one statement after another.
"Wait, say that again." As an idea pops into my head.
"That is when you will be able to forget her?"
"No, further back."
"Unless if you are miraculously saying that there is a way someone can break your bond." He repeats.
"Yes, that's it."
"What's it?" He asks a little confused.
"Do you still remember when we were kids and we were told about mates that got their bond broken." I remind him
"Yes?" He answers more like a question.
"Remember , it was a man who found his mate but something about the woman he dated before his mate, was jealous about the union and then seemed a witch that could break their bond, so she could end up with him, in which it did break, now do you remember?" I ask him.
