AVYANNA'S POV
I stand in front of the mirror admiring myself. I had finished getting ready about twenty minutes ago. I really look good the pink outfit fits me perfectly, I wonder how Aedion knew my exact size. I then paired my jumpsuit with plain white pumps and a white clutch bag. I decided to do a light makeup look and wear a white fur coat that I found in my closet , with a note written "You will need this."
"Come in." I say as there is a knock on the door.
My grandma walks in with a wide grin on her face.
"Oh my baby looks beautiful." She says as she squeezes my cheeks. I pry her hands off me.
"Grandma, I'm not a child anymore."
"You are right, you are not but you will always be one to me and your grandfather."
I smile slightly and hug my grandma. She is such a sweetheart. I don't know how I would have tackled the hardships of life without them. I was so selfish to ever think of leaving them alone.
I hear my grandma sigh.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"It's just that, I wish life had treated us better especially you. I wish if Brylee was here to see her daughter all grown up." She sadly exclaims.
I walk over to her and embrace her. Brylee was my other. I never got the chance to meet her but from what I hear from my grandma, she was an always cheerful and loving person.
"Don't be sad please because you will make me cry too. I'm sure my mother wherever she is , she is smiling and grateful that you took care of me and and besides on the bright side at least you are here with me."
She smiles at me and caresses my cheek as she kisses my forehead.
"I love you. Anyway, I came here to tell you there is a driver waiting for you downstairs."
She accompanied me downstairs where I am met with my grandpa. He smiles Walt at me and gives me a kiss.
A man in black pants and white shirt waits for me outside. He bows slightly.
"Good evening Luna. I am General Conrad. I am your driver for tonight." He introduces himself.
I nod and say "You may call me Avyanna please."
He nods and opens the door of the SUV for me. I step in and patiently wait for wherever I am being led to by Conrad.
I watch the trees pass by as I wonder what Aedion, is up to and why he is doing all this. To top it of, I haven't even made up my mind about him.
The car comes to a stop after about an hour and Conrad opens the door for me.
"Where are we going?" I ask
"We are going to a portal." He answers
"For what?"
""I'm afraid, I can't disclose that information, Miss Avyanna."
I keep quiet knowing that if I want to find out where I am going, I just have to be patient because he is not going to tell me anything.
We continue walking until we are in front of a big wooden door with a big star. We step in and I notice it's an empty room.
"Hello my dear." A voice states
I look in the direction of the voice to find Professor Madrich here.
"Thomas? What are you doing here?" I ask.
"Well I need to open a portal for you." He simply replies.
