When the teen woke the next day, Blake was shaking her shoulder with a cup of coffee in her other hand. "Time to get up and get ready for school, (Y/N)." She told her, stepping back as she drank her coffee. "I'll be waiting downstairs, and I know that I raised you and this is your room and all. But I'd appreciate if you wore some pj's to bed, kiddo." Blake told her before making her exit.

(Y/N) blushed Blakes words, pulling the blanket up from the bottom of the bed to cover herself.

"Oh," Blake added, turning in the door way before she pointed at the teen. "You can't forget to close your balcony doors again either. I know that this town seems safe but you can't be too sure." She said, turning back around and disappearing through the door.

At that statement, (Y/N)s head whipped around to find her curtains slightly open and blowing in the wind, her door ajar.

Her heart plummeted at the sight before she jumped up and pushed it closed, looking out into the woods as she locked the door once more.

She couldn't see anything in the trees but she didn't know when or how the door even opened. Shaking her head to rid herself of the ideas flooding her mind, (Y/N) closed the curtains again and moved across the room.

She didn't have time to think of that, she needed to get ready for school. She needed to worry about making friends and her classes, although Camila said she'd be there too and didn't need to worry.

After a quick shower, (Y/N) threw on a pair of jeans, a shirt and a black flannel, throwing her hair up and out of her face while she was at it.

Applying some light makeup, (Y/N) then grabbed her bag and trudged downstairs to meet up with Blake. Jumping down the final step with a thud, Blake looked up from her phone and stood up. "Good to go?" She asked with a smile.

(Y/N) gave a weak smile back as she nodded, shrugging her bag higher on her shoulder before following the blonde out to the car.

"I know you said you had a lift home, but your bike's in the trunk just in case. You can keep it in the car if you want but I just didn't want you walking home if your friend couldn't take you." Blake told her, reversing the car as she swung it around and then drove down the drive way.

"Okay, thanks." (Y/N) mumbled, resting her cheek on her fist as she looked out the window. The rest of the trip silent besides the brakes on the car squeaking slightly as the car stopped in front of the school.

(Y/N) sighed as she watched the kids in front of the school and around the parking lot. Grabbing her bag off the floor before opening her door. "If you wanna go home, like, really really wanna go home because it's horrible. Call me, okay?" Blake told her, grabbing her arm to stop her from getting out of the car.

The teen frowned for a second as she watched the other kids bustle about before turning back to her guardian. "Thank you, Blake. I won't though. I'll be fine." She told her with a forced smile.

Blake smiled back before releasing her arm, letting the girl get out of the car.

Blake gave a final wave before driving off to work as (Y/N) threw her bag onto her shoulder and took a deep breath.

A group of boys walked pasts, bumping into the teen pushing her forward. She stumbled a bit but quickly found her footing, continuing to put one foot in front of the other before entering the lively school .

Once the girl had gotten her schedule, classes started quickly and desks were assigned, people greeting her and inviting her to lunch with their groups, slightly overwhelming the (Y/H/C).
