Alex and Britt are from two different worlds and never really noticed each other in school when a project they were working on brought them closer than they ever taught they would become and introducing each other to their opposite worlds .
For some unknown reason I was so happy for today. Okay, well, the reason wasn't really unknown... the truth is I was a little eager to see Alex today.. I mostly sleep in on Saturdays , even when I had a date with Austin on a weekend I'm not even awake at this time. I finally decided that if I'm awake I might as well just take a shower and head downstairs... I lazied about my room for some minutes and then entered my bathroom to prepare the bath tub . I want to have a bubble bath to relax myself... I felt like I had over worked my body but the truth was I never really did anything for myself.
I took off my clothes and got into the tub and relaxed my body soaking in the bath for at least 10 minutes and then got out not wanting to get wrinkles. I put on a black romper and headed downstairs to get something to eat... my maid comes over to clean during the week because we I don't like seeing anyone in the house except Nona... my nanny since childhood who cooks for us and the only person who is always there for me since my mum died.
I could smell pancakes from the stairs as I was going down. " Mmm... Nona ... that smells mouthwatering" I said inhaling the sweet smell of maple syrup. " It's all for you chickita" she said in her Mexican accent. " Why?? isn't dad joining us for breakfast? " I asked, a little confused. " No, sweetie. Your dad left early this morning on a business trip... he said he'd be gone for at least two weeks." She said...while serving me a plate of pancakes covered with syrup and a sliced strawberry as topping a glass of orange juice.

"Mmm.. Nona ur pancakes taste better every time. Just what I need... By the way Nona I'll be having a...a classmate... over today to work on a school project. " I said while having breakfast. "Okay.. I'll be heading to the store to get some things but I'll be back before noon...do u need anything chickita? ?" She asked , while checking whether the amount of money she had would be enough. "I'm good, but I think I'm almost out of salt for my bubble bath. " I said, getting up to put my plate in the sink.
Nona left, and as for me... I decided to call Austin... I missed him, but when I called it went to voice mail which was a little surprising but I guess he was busy so I called Sky but she said she was at the spa with her mom for their bonding time... I decided not to bother anyone else and just go sit by the pool outside. I was wallowing in thoughts of myself, wondering how life would be if my mum was here, trying hard to remember some memories of her but I got nothing since she died when I was 2 years old . I only have pictures of her hung in the halls to remind me of her...
Just then my phone vibrated... I checked to see who it was... Alex...'hey , umm... could you send me your address I kinda lost the one you gave me' was what the text said... I rolled my eyes and sent him the address. I was playing 'Without me ' by Halsey when the doorbell rang .. I remembered Nona wasn't home so I went to answer.... I opened the door and it was Alex.... He was relexed on the wall and had a cocky grin on his face ... he eyed my whole body in a way that someone who didn't have sharp eyes wouldn't realise and lucky me ... I'm note one of them(Note the sarcasm) I felt so awkward when I realised that he realised that I was also eyeing his body like a hawk and my cheeks flush red... Really Britt... he's just in a tight fitted top that showed his biceps and a faded blue ripped jeans that hugged his legs nicely... I thought saying that would help , but it just made me realise how nice he was....snap out of it Britt!! You have Austin... I told myself until he decided to break the awkward silence.
" Hey beautiful" he said in a sexy tone, which sent shivers of pleasure down my spine. It seemed like I took a while to reply cause he snapped his fingers in my face which brought me back to reality. " Umm.. hi" I managed to say in a slightly higher pitch than my normal voice. "So... are you gonna let me in, or are you gonna keep standing there liking what you see"he said , still having his grin plastered on his face. I shrugged, " Sorry, where are my manners. Please come in" I said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes and walked in.
