Alex and Britt are from two different worlds and never really noticed each other in school when a project they were working on brought them closer than they ever taught they would become and introducing each other to their opposite worlds .
I eventually got of the floor lay down on my bed... I devoted three years to a relationship that might have been a sham. I knw what I was getting into when I started dating the star quarterback of the football team. I was a cheerleader and we were a perfect fit. I thoght we were so in love. As I was growing up Sky has been the one person who has been there... in good times, bad times and the ugly. In just one day my whole world has come crumbling down.
I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard knock on my door. It took a while to stand firmly since I was feeling fuzzy. I unlocked the door and the one person I wanted to see right now was standing in my doorway ... Alex... I stared in his eyes which were filled with genuine worry for me... right in that instance I broke down in tears dropping to the ground and he held me and embraced me. The warm of his body gradually calming me down as his sent was intoxicating, almost like a drug I was addicted to. I knew that was where I wanted to be right then....
Alex POV
I got to Britt's place as fast as I could and rang the the doorbell. Nona opened the door and immediately sighed with relief, " Alex... thank God you're hear." She said. " Nona is everything okay... what's wrong with Britt... she was crying when she called me." I asked with worry. " She left to go see Austin earlier and shortly after she arrived home crying, run upstairs and locked herself up in there and hasn't come out since." She said, her voice filled with worry.
I went upstairs and when I got to her door I paused and listened. There was an awkward silence and I wanted to know what the hell is going on. I twisted the doorknob but the door wouldn't budge. Then I heard footsteps heading toward the door and it seconds it flew opened. Right before me stood a girl who was shattered, someone who was crying too much that all the colour was drained from her face... That was Britt... so vulnerable and fragile... she looked into my eyes... her eyes that used to be glittering with with happiness and agility were now lifeless... he broke down crying and I held her close to me to comfort her..
What happened to her that caused her to break down like this? Who hurt her this bad? I pulled her away and wiped away her tears using my thumb. What she needed right now was someone to talk to... to confind in... and I'm the one she called. I have to take her away from her misery.. from whatever that caused her to break down." Let's get u cleaned up.... I wanna tae you somewhere okay? " I said to her in a voice that almost sounded like a whisper... she hesitated a little but then nodded in response and I took her into her room and placed her on her bed.
I started a bubble bath for her and made sure she got in it before I left her room. I sat down stairs and waited for her there drinking the hot cocoa that Nona gave me. Not long after I saw her coming down the stairs, she was in a simple black oversized t shirt and sweatpants. Her hair was tied in a messy bun. She didn't look her normal self but at least there was a bit of colour in it. I motion for her to follow me out." Nona ... I'm taking Britt out..." I called out to Nona who was in the kitchen. " Alright son, be safe"... We head out and I open the door for Britt to hop into my car and close it after she sits. I get into the driver's seat and drive off...
Britt's POV
Alex told me he was taking me somewhere but I didn't know where. We passed through a drive-thru and Alex got us some hamburgers and fries and some drinks and we kept on driving. After a while, the suspence was killing me "Where are you taking me?" I managed to ask, my voice sounding hoarse from all the crying I did. "You'll see" that's all he said as he kept driving. Not long after he parked at a clearing, I turn to him with a confused look on my face. He chuckled and got out of the car with the take out in one hand and opened the door for me with the other. I got out of the car and the cold breeze hit me. Alex motioned for me to follow him and I did until we stopped at the edge of the clearing with was over looking the city.... LA... it was such a breathtaking view.

-" This is..." I didn't know what word could describe it. "Breathtaking" he said." Yeah" I laughed a little. He helped , me sit at the edge of the clearing which oveelooked the city. Once I sat down he handed me the food. " Thanks" I said, smiling at him. I took on bite if the burger and it tasted so good. I couldn't help but moan. " Damn, you sound sexy when you make that noise, do it again. " he said, sounding cocky which made me laugh. That was my first genuine laugh today.
