Alex and Britt are from two different worlds and never really noticed each other in school when a project they were working on brought them closer than they ever taught they would become and introducing each other to their opposite worlds .
I woke up feeling bright this morning. I could see my skin glowing after I had taken a shower and was now blow drying my hair till the curles fall right down my back. I feel so alive and happy today. I decided to go surprise visit Austin today, cause I called Sky to come hangout but she said she was having a meeting. Sky was part of our school's student representative council so was busy with meetings during the weekend and left me feeling bored so I wanna have fun with my boyfriend.

I was going with black top which I had tied infront and some bumpers and some nike kicks... just a casual look and left my hair down. I head downstairs, grab an apple and tell Nona I'll be back later in the day since I didn't know how long I would be at Austin's. It was a 30 minutes drive to his house and when I park in his driveway I see Sky's car there. Her car was a royal blue mercedes , we wanted to get the same cars when we start driving so we decided to both get the benz but in our own colours.
" Hey, simone.... how are you doing?"I said to Austin's househelp... she responded and told me that Austin was in his room. I head upstairs slowly to surprise him but as I was getting closser I heard moans... I was a little confused. I get closer and when I put my hand on the handle to open the door I hear Austin's voice" Fuck. Sky you feel so good" I literally froze at the door in shock. My eyes get blurry as they fill up in tears. I decide to be strong and go in and see for myself. But maybe that was just a bad idea.
I leaned on the door while I wached two of the most important people in my life betray me before my eyes. A tear escaped from my eye but I quickly wipe it away " You know Austin, I knew that you would cheat on me one day eventually since I told you I wasn't ready for sex so I prepared myself for it." I said and gave a fake laugh. Which startled them a little when they realised i was standing there. Skyla was about to say something but I quickly cut her off " But you... you sky-" I said choking on a sob. " You're my fucking best friend Sky... Did you at least think of me??!!!!" I scream at her which made her flinch.
I turned around and run down the stairs to get out of there as fast as I could... I can't take it, my heart was hurting bad... I heard Austin call out running after me but the last thing I want is for him to see me broken because of him. I hate him right now. I hadn't realised I had slowed down till I felt Austin holding my arm gently. "Get your hands of me Austin!!You don't know how much I hate you right now!!" I screamed at him and shook of his hand . " Britt. Please don't say that to me. I love -" I cut him off " Dont you ever... ever say those words to me. You don't know what love is" I say in an icy tone and turn around and enter my car and drive off like a mad person.
I don't stop till I get home. I get out of the car and run upstairs, ignoring Nona calling after me and bang my door shut. Just then everything hits me all over again and this time I allow the tears to flow as I slide down to the floor. What did I ever do to to both of them? Did I ever fail as a best friend to Sky? Didn't she even once think of how I would feel? How long have they been doing this? Is this all my fault... because I told Austin I wasn't ready to give him what he wanted? So many questions were running through my mind as I lay on the floor at my bedroom door.
The only thing I could do is lie there and sob. I need someone to talk to. Someone who would listen.... Alex... that's the only name that could come to mind. I need to call him... I took my phone and searched his number. When I found it I was now contemplating. Should I call?...

Alex POV
Laughter from my friends fill the air as Trisha trash talks Zacks new catch." Like for realls... her ass is look like two elbows sticking out of her clothes" she aid sipping on her drink. Right now we were at Groves smoothie shop having a good time and blowing of steam. " So... Aleh... how's it going with the hot chick?" Zack asked. " Cause it looks like I'm winning the bet. Let's make it a little interesting.... I win, I get to keep your mustang, you win you get my monster bike." He added .. I shook my head " Nada... not my baby" I say shaking a finger while sipping my banana-strawberry smoothie. " How about the polaris?" He asked.
Just then my phone rings and like a reflex I pick up the call without even checking who it was. " holla" I say in a joking tone. Just then I hear sobbing at the other end and I take the phone off my ear and check who it was... Britt.. " Alex" she said in a low voice which showed she had been crying for a while now. My facial expression changes causing my friends to ask what was going on but I just excused myself from the table."Britt.. is everything okay?" I asked, my voice filled with so much concern. "Could you come over?" She asked, sniffing. I could tell something was really wrong. " I'll be over in 20 minutes" I tell her and hung up.
I walk back to my table and my friends were laughing about something. " Watsup dude, you look worried. " Juilo asked. " Yeah Al, what's going on? What happened?" Trisha asked. " It's nothing... umm... I gotta go. I'll see you guys later" I told them and leave before they could ask any more questions. I quickly get in my car and hed to Britts place. For some reason I could feel that Britt was in pain. Why do I really care about her? What's wrong with her? I was asking myself questions and had answers to some of these questions... I just didn't want to bring myself to believe it.
