As we reached the venue, ramdam ko na agad na hindi basta-basta ang angkan ng mga Perez. Most of their guests were tycoon in business world, famous in medical field, a higher ranking officials, and even the biggest celebrity in the country.

We were guided by the lady in long-red dress to our designated table, she introduced herself as one of Mr. Perez secretary. I just learned that the Perez owned the famous Perez pharmaceutical group of company and hospitals.

While sitting alone in our table, iginala ko ang aking mga mata. The function hall designed in all gold colored, the gold bottle of champagne, even the gold chandeliers that were beautifully hanging on the ceiling, it's like a gold theme party except that the classy guests wore different colour of dresses.

Ang lawak ng mansion ng mga perez, I can't even believe that this glamorous function hall is located just inside the Perez mansion, I mean, imagine how huge the Perez mansion is?

The outside of the this mansion was very fascinating, like it was owned by royalties, the entrance of this function hall and the entrance of the mansion is different, maybe it's exclusive only for family or because they value much of their privacy.

Ilang sandali pa ay nahagip ng mata ko ang kuya na supladong naglalakad palapit sa mesa namin, pero bago paman ito maka-abot ay hinarang ito ng tatlong kalalakahihan nasa tingin ko ay kaedad lang din nito. Kita ko na naman ang iritasyon sa mukha nito. Kuya weren't really good in socializing, kanina ko pa napapansin parang gusto na nga nitong umuwi, andami kasing lumapit dito at nangumusta. Just like mommy and daddy na hindi pa nga nakalapit sa mesa namin kanina ay linapitan na agad ng mga kakilala, they were surprise to see mommy and even more surprise when they learned that mommy and daddy were back together specially when mommy introduce me. They were hysterical and shock. Daddy just chucked, placing his thug smile. They talked about business and future plans, kaya nag-paiwan na ako sa mesa namin dahil baka sumakit ng paa ko, hindi pa naman ng sisimula ang party.

"Ang sakit na ng kamay ko." dinig kong reklamo ng kuya travis noong nakaupo na ito sa tabi ko.

I heard him muttered a soft curse while massaging his right hand. Napataas ang kilay ko, kaming dalawa lang sa mesa,

"what happened?" kuryoso kong tanong habang inilapit ko ang sarili ko dito.

Inagaw ko ang kamay nito at ipinatong sa lap ko.

"Napano ba 'to?" I asked him while checking and slightly massaging his long and rough hand.

"Ang daming humawak sa kamay ko ngayon, napagod yata kaya sumakit." it took me minutes to process the nonsense things he said.

Tawa-tawa ito habang unti-unting humilig sa inu-upuan ko.

"for once, magseryoso ka naman." inirapan ko ito habang dinig ko naman ang mahinang pagtawa nito. Ramdam ko ang pag-alog ng dibdib nito na tumama sa kanang balikat ko kaya mahinang tinulak ko ito at pinitikan ang noo, halos masuka pa ako nang sumimangot ito at parang batang naiiyak.

Confirm. baliw nga ang lalaking to, hindi man halata sa panlabas na anyo, pero pag kaming dalawa lang ay ramdam ko talaga kung gaano kalala ang sakit nito sa utak.

Ilang sandali pa ay umingay ang paligid, mukhang magsisimula na yata ang party.

Party started, the birthday celebrant went teared eye as he listened to his family giving him a heartfelt message, kita ang saya sa mukha ng matandang perez habang nakatingin ito sa intablado, malapit lang ang mesa nito sa amin kaya medyo dinig ko ang reklamo nito no'ng tinawag ang apo nitong lalaki.
