Amy and Laurie were happily married and successfully had told the March family that they were together.

Amy and Laurie now had a child of their own her full name is Elizabeth Laurence but they just call her Beth.

Amy was holding her child fondly and smiling at her husband.

Amy and Laurie had a very happy and successful marriage along with their daughter.

At first their daughter got sick all the time and they were worried that she would die but after loads of care and protection she survived and is living a healthy life along with her mom and dad.

Amy smiled to Laurie and said "I can't believe we're parents".

Laurie said "I can't believe either and the fact that this is all happening with you makes it ten times better".

Amy smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek.

Laurie said "I love you and our little family".

Amy said "I love you too and also I love our little family".

Amy handed Bess over to Laurie to go talk to her sisters.

Jo's book was releasing today so all of the March sisters were gathered at Jo's school to celebrate her book release and Marmee's birthday.

Laurie smiled as he held his daughter. He had always longed to be apart of the March family and now he was.

He had a loving wife and a beautiful daughter that he adored.

Laurie walked over and wrapped an arm around Amy's waist and kissed her forehead as they gathered around to sing Marmee a happy birthday.

When they had finished celebrating, Amy and Laurie were sitting down in the grass looking at all of the children who attended Jo's school play.

Amy said "I love you Laurie".

Laurie said "I love you too Amy".

Amy kissed him before turning back to their daughter who was smiling up at them.

Their daughter was 1 month old and it had been a happy month so far.

Amy and Laurie played with their daughter and smiled at her.

Jo came over with her husband Friedrich Bhaer and they sat down next to them.

Jo told the rest of the family to gather around, so they did.

Jo said "Everyone, Friedrich and I have some exciting news".

Meg said "What is it?".

Jo said "I'm having a baby".

The whole family cheers and says their congratulations.

Laurie said "Congratulations Jo".

Jo said "Thank you Teddy".

Amy hugged her sister and said "I'm so happy for you".

Jo hugged her back and said "Thank you Amy that means the world to me".

Meg then hugged Jo and Jo hugged her back.

Meg said "Oh this is so exciting".

Jo said "I know, Friedrich and I are very happy".

Jo smiled at her husband and then turned back to her family and said "You know Beth would have really enjoyed this".

Amy said sadly "I really miss her".

Jo said "Me too".

Meg said "We should honor her".

Amy said "I did name my daughter after her but yes we should honor her in some sort of way".

Marmee said "My dear girls, we should have a ceremony for her".

Jo said "That's a great idea".

Amy said "That's perfect Marmee, why didn't I think of that?".

Laurie said "That's a brilliant idea she would love that".

They all began to work on the ceremony.

They all wrote letters to her to put in a lantern and send off to the sky.

They all wrote things that they loved about her and their favorite memories with her.

Amy wrote of the time when Beth and her had played on the piano for hours and pretended to be fairies.

Amy's eyes filled with tears as she said "Goodbye Beth we miss you a lot".

She then put her letter in the lantern and watched it fly off in the sky.

Amy started to cry and Laurie put a comforting arm around her.

Amy said "I miss her so much".

Laurie said "Me too Amy".

Amy said "She was so pure and kind and I didn't even get to say goodbye".

Laurie said "I know, but she loved you a lot and I bet wherever she is, she knows that you miss her and she misses you too".

Amy wrapped her arms around him hugging him.

Amy said "Thanks Laurie, I love you".

Laurie said "I love you too".

The two comforted one another for a very long time.

They both missed Beth dearly but they knew that Beth would always be watching down on them in spirit.
