~Luke's POV~Leah pushed me off. I stared at her. I wanted to say something, but I was scared that I would just fuck things up more like I always do. I was too scared to say the wrong thing.
"Just, leave me alone, okay?" She sighed. She stood there for a few more seconds and then took a deep breath and started walking.
~ Leah's POV~
I began walking. "No," I heard Luke.
I furrowed my eyebrows and turned around, looking at him. "No?" I asked. He nodded, "I'm tired of all the 'leave me alone's'. I'm tired of everything. I don't know how the camera got in that room and I don't know what to say anymore. I don't want to lose you. I really, really don't."
I looked down. "I need-I need time."
He looked at me, nodding. "I'm sorry, Leah, if I every hurt you. I didn't mean to..."
"It's fine."
We stared at each other. I wanted to run into his arms and kiss him. But, I needed to process things. I didn't want to get hurt again.
I turned around and left.

"Okay, soooo...?" Kelsey looked at me, with hope in her eyes. "Are you sure it's just going to be us?" I asked, skeptically.
"Yessss! Jacob's mom has everything booked already...for everyo-Just us."
I gave her a look. She knew it meant; "I have a feeling you're lying."
"Come on, L, lets have fun! The hotel has an inside pool!" She exclaimed. I sighed, "only three days, right?"
She nodded, "only three days."
I sighed. "Okay. Fine."
Kelsey jumped up and down. "Can we go get Starbucks?"
I sighed, "okay."
• a few days later •
Well. Here I was. On a 1 hour road trip to Galveston, Tx. Jacob's mom was taking us. Let's just say that Jacob's mom is like a 16-year-old in a 45-year-old woman's body.
Which meant she was cool, but sometimes she tried to be too cool. But she was still cool. Jacob had told us that she had booked a room on the floor above ours, so we can "live" and "be free".
I guess sometimes her irresponsibility made it fun.

After what felt like a year; we arrived.
Jacob and Kelsey jumped out of the car that was giving me literal claustrophobia. I stepped out of the car and took a deep breath. I looked at the big hotel that was in front of me. "Wow," I breathed out. "I know. It's beautiful," Jacob's mom said. I nodded and grabbed my backpack from the trunk of the car.
"Okay," Jacob's Mom closed the trunk after everyone grabbed their things, "let's go meet up with the rest."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "the rest?"
I looked at Kelsey. She immediately looked away from me and hurried in the hotel. "Kelsey!" I exclaimed and ran after her. Soon, we were inside the hotel, and in the waiting room stood half of the football team...and of course, Luke was included.
He had seemed to be laughing at something. His smile faded a little as he saw me. We looked at each other. "We're here!" I heard and annoying voice. I turned around to see Nadia and four other girls.
I looked at Jacob's mom, "how-how many rooms did you book?"
She smiled, "almost an entire floor."
My eyes widened, "Mrs.Jackson! This is an expensive hotel-"
"I know it is, honey. But don't worry about it. You have fun, okay? But not too much fun, "she said looking towards the football guys. I nearly gagged.
I walked to Kelsey. She gave me the "Please don't be mad at me, please" smile.
"Really, Kels? You said it was just us!"
"I know. I'm sorry. We weren't really sure if they were going to come, so I decided not to tell you. Besides, I knew you wouldn't want to come if you knew he was coming," she glanced at Luke.
I sighed, "I'll just call my mom to pick me u-"
"No! Leah, please stay! It won't be the same without you," Kelsey frowned, gripping my arm. "But-"
I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see a familiar woman. "Leah?" The woman said. My eyes widened as I realized who it was.
"Oh my gosh! Mrs. Havens, it's so nice to see you again!" I said. We hugged. "Wow. You've grown so much, and you've definitely gotten prettier."
"Haha, thanks, and of course you look as great as always."
"Aww, thanks. I'm so glad you're back. Ever since you came back, Luke just can't stop smiling. He just talk about you all-day-every-day," she chuckled. I felt my smile fade. She smiled at me, "Well, I just came to make sure everything is okay. Please take care of Luke and keep him from doing stupid things. Oh! And can I ask you a favor?"
I slowly nodded, trying not to glance at Luke. "You see; It's me and my husband's anniversary this weekend and we want to stay out for a whole night, I hope it's okay with your parents for you to stay the night and babysit . I don't really trust Luke anymore. He almost burnt the house down when I left him to babysit Vanessa," she laughed.
I tried to laugh along.
I hope it's okay with your Parents.
Parents. Mom and...dad.
"Uh, Yeah. I think my parents will let me...So How old is Vanessa now?" I asked, trying to clear my mind from dad. "She's 8," Mrs. Havens smiled. "Oh my gosh, wow."
She nodded, " I'd figure I'd ask you for this favor because Vanessa used to love you as a kiss, and I'm sure she'll still love you now."
"Aww, Yeah."
Ms.Havens nodded, "well! I have to go. Can you babysit on Saturday?"
"Uh-Uh...yeah! Sure."
"Thank you so much. Bye, be safe!" She said and walked out the Hotel.
"Okay, guys, we have our hotel rooms!" I heard Jacob's mom.
