I closed my locker. I saw Kelsey walking towards me. "How you feeling?" She asked. I had called her the night before while having a mental breakdown. "Better," I told her. She hugged me. "I thought I was better, you know? I thought it didn't hurt me that bad anymore, but memories just kept coming ba—" I broke down into tears again."It's okay. It's not easy when it comes to a family member. You don't have to move on this quickly, okay? It's only been two months."
"I know. I'm just tired of crying. I want to feel happy again," I said. I wiped tears off my face. "You'll get there, don't give up," Kelsey said.
I nodded.

I walked out of 8th period. "Hey," I heard. I turned around to see a familiar guy standing against the lockers. It was the guy form the hotel. "I know you probably forgot about me. I'm mark...the guy from the hotel?" He said. "Yeah, I remember you," I smiled sweetly.
"Well, I was looking for you and I had to ask many people if they knew what was your 8th period."
I nodded. "Well, you found me," I smiled. He laughed, "Yeah."
"Your eyes are very pretty," he said. I laughed awkwardly, "thank you."
"Listen, I know I sound weird, but I really like you. And I was hoping that maybe we can go out sometime?" He said. "I-I'm sorry, Mark. I have a boyfriend," I said.
"Oh..." he said. "Can we go as friends at least?" He asked. I took a deep breath, "Uh, Yeah. Sure."
"Great. How about right now?" He asked. "But don't you guys have a game today?" I asked. "Oh, right," he blushed in embarrassment.
"So you're coming to the game?" He asked. "Yeah, my boyfriend's playing."
"Oh, he plays football? Who is it?"
"It's Luke."
"Luke? Like the one who leaked pictures of you and him in—"
"He wasn't the one that did that. Now, please stop getting into our business, okay?" I said as nicely as possible. "Shit, yeah. Sorry."
"Okay," I gave him a small smile. "Good luck."

Kelsey stuck a piece of popcorn in her mouth. I looked at the field. My eyes were planted on Luke the whole time. I smiled as I watched him warm-up. I could already see his sweat.
"God, he's so fucking perfect," I sighed.
Kelsey laughed, "you're head over heels for him."
I saw him look up at me. He winked. I smiled and mouthed, "I love you."
He mouthed it back.
"Can you stop flirting and pay attention to me?" Kelsey said. I looked at her to see her pouting. I laughed and hugged her. "So how you holding up?" She asked. I sighed, "Well, I try not to think about it. And I also try to think positive."
Kelsey smiled, "you're doing great."
I smiled back, "Yeah, thanks to you."
