I entered my chemistry class. "Ms.Smith, you're late...again."

"Good for you," I snapped. The whole class stared as a few laughs got out. "Excuse me?" The teacher said. "I said 'Good for you'" I told her, looking at her right in the eyes. "Stop disrespecting and go to the principal's office," she said. "Okay, good."

I glanced at Luke. He looked at me with a concerned face. I walked out the class and to the principal's office.

"Look, Leah, I understand your day is bad. It happens. But please try to at least respect other's, okay?" The principal asked. I sighed and nodded, walking out the door. The bell rung as I did. I went to the restroom and washed my face. I took a deep breath and repeated James's words, "You're okay."

The restroom door swung open, making me look immediately. A panicked Kelsey was looking at me. "Leah! Oh my gosh, come quick!" She said, grabbing my arm and pulling me out to the hallway. There was a swarm of people. There was punching and locker banging. I pushed through people and saw Luke on top of James. He was punching the hell out of him.

James reached his fist out to punch him right in the eye. "Stop!" I yelled. Two of the guys from the football team ran in to separate them. James escapes the guys grip, he glared at Luke, and left. People started leaving the swarm. I went to Luke.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked. I put my hand on the corner of his lip. It was bleeding. "He started-"

"Just shush."

I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Kelsey, "I'm going to class. Bye."

I nodded and she left. I sighed and looked at Luke. "Come with me," I said. I started walking. Surprisingly, he followed me. I got to Kelsey's car. She said she always carried a first-aid kit in there and told me I could use it when I want to.

I opened the door and grabbed the kit from under the seat. "Sit down," I told Luke. He sat down on the passenger's seat, his feat sticking out the car. I started cleaning off blood and cuts. He groaned in pain. I focused on his face. I came to his lip and that's when I looked in his eyes.

He smiled.

I started cleaning. He put his hand on top of mine, stopping me. I looked at him. He took our hands off his lips and he looked at mine. "You're beautiful," he said. I didn't say anything. He started leaning in. I felt his lips attach to mine. They moved in sync. He stood up from the seat and pushed me against the car door. He put his hands on my waist. I felt his hand slide up my shirt. I pulled away a little. Our foreheads touched. His hands traveled around my chest.

I knew what he wanted. I let out a shaky breath. "I love you so much," he whispered. I felt like a bomb had just dropped in my heart. So much.
I felt our lips connect again and I felt him unclip my bra. I gasped. He smiled, "relax."

"We're at school."

He frowned. I felt him fix my bra. He kissed my forehead. He slowly pulled away from me. He turned to walk away. "Wait," I grabbed him and pulled him back to the point where our bodies were touching completely. He smiled down at me. "Don't leave," I said. He wrapped his arms around me. I felt so warm.

I felt him kiss my head like 10 times but I loved it.

He leaned down and pecked my lips. I tried kissing back every time he did but I could never catch him. He laughed. "Stop it," I pouted. He smiled and leaned down, kissing me. I smiled as I kissed back.

"What...in... the world," I heard. I quickly pulled away to see Kelsey. "So you did talk to him?" She asked. "Kels-"

"Talk to me?" He asked. "I thought you said..." she stopped herself to not start anything. "Said what?"
Luke asked. "Nothing," I told him and grabbed the first aid kit, putting it back in the car and closing the door. I grabbed my bag from the floor. "Leah, what's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing's wrong!" I said. I grabbed Kelsey and started walking. "Sorry," she whispered.

I sighed. Luke grabbed my arm and I turned around. "What did you say?" He asked. "Nothing! It wasn't what I meant-"

"What was it?" He asked, getting impatient. "I said that it's nothing!" I told him. "Okay if It's nothing, then tell me."

"No!" I yelled and turned around but he grabbed me again. "What is it? Are you the one that's going to walk away? Again? Stop hiding stuff from me-"

"It's not like we're friends anyways. We're nothing, you understand?" I said. He looked hurt again, "So the kiss meant nothing, huh?"

"Yes, the kiss meant nothing. Now please..." I tried not to make my voice crack, "leave me alone."

He stood there as me and Kelsey walked back in the building. As soon as we were inside, she hugged me. I felt tears escape my eyes as she did. "I hate this..."

She rubbed my back, "it's okay."

You're okay.

I finished putting stuff in my locker and went to look for James. I found him closing his locker. I went to him and he looked at me. "Yes?" He asked. "I'm sorry about him-"

"I mean if you had told me Luke Havens was your boyfriend, then maybe-"

I shook my head about a hundred times, looking confused. "He's not my boyfriend," I said. He laughed in a very sarcastic way, "Well, he sure acted like he was."

"What?" I asked. "He came up to me and told me to stop trying to kiss you. I've never even tried to do that. He told me to stop getting close to you..."

My jaw dropped. He continued talking. I stormed off. My eyes scanned every corner of the hallways. I saw Jacob and walked to him.

"Where's Luke?" I asked. He looked at me, confused. "Umm...probably in practice already-"

I ran off.
