"WANG YIBO! I LOVE YOU!" Xiao Zhan, 14 shouted, while holding a rabbit soft toy up with both hands.

Yibo had been confessed to by countless girls. This was the first time he was confessed to by a guy. Yibo spared Xiao Zhan a glance and halted.

The guy in front looked as cute- no, even cuter than the rabbit soft toy. So cute. Even cuter than anyone or anything he has ever seen.

Yibo never ever accepted gifts but before he knew it, he reached out and held Xiao Zhan's hands who was holding the rabbit soft toy.

Yibo regretted it for a second but only a second. He did not regret it the moment he saw Xiao Zhan's slightly pink cheeks flush red. Which made him even cuter.

Yibo smirked "What's your name?" Xiao Zhan blushed so hard he felt that his face was on fire. "X-Xiao Zhan" Xiao Zhan wanted to pull his hand back but it was grabbed tightly by Yibo.

Many people had gathered because Yibo never spared a glance to anyone who confessed to him before. "Aren't you going to ask if I can be your boyfriend?"

"Yibo... I love you, w-will you be my boyfriend?" Xiao Zhan asked. Yibo smirked again "Well, no. But I can be your friend"

Xiao Zhan's face brightened up "Okay! Yibo, please be my friend!" Xiao Zhan felt that being friends was better than being strangers. At least he can stay beside Yibo and he might be able to change Yibo's mind.

1 year passed and Xiao Zhan followed Yibo everyday and everywhere. Waiting in front of his house early in the morning and walking with him back to his home.

Yibo would occasionally invite Xiao Zhan in too, and at the end of the day, Xiao Zhan would go home squealing in delight.

Xiao Zhan did everything Yibo asked, followed everything he said. To them they might be friends but in other people's eyes, Xiao Zhan was totally a willing slave.

Yibo became happier. He treated everyone but Xiao Zhan coldly. Sometimes Xiao Zhan would ask "Yibo, am I special to you?"

And Yibo would reply "Of course. You're my best friend" and Xiao Zhan would be happy about it.

However, Yibo was happy because there was someone following him all the time, loving him and doing whatever he says. He sometimes unknowingly belittled Xiao Zhan's feelings for him.

Xiao Zhan went far just for Yibo. And Yibo sometimes took advantage of Xiao Zhan. But Xiao Zhan didn't mind. He loves Yibo a lot. Too much.

Yibo laid his head on Xiao Zhan's lap who leaned against the tree. Xiao Zhan stared at Yibo who was asleep and slowly caressed his hair. Yibo looked so handsome.

Xiao Zhan smiled. He enjoyed this peaceful feeling of them being alone. He enjoyed the way his heart beat faster knowing Yibo is right beside him. He enjoyed the moment.

"Yibo... why do you always reject people?" Xiao Zhan asked out loud the question he had been wondering.

"Because I will only date someone I truly love" Yibo answered, to Xiao Zhan's surprise. Yibo opened his eyes and stared into Xiao Zhan's eyes. Xiao Zhan blushed red and Yibo held in his chuckle. "Then... have you had your first kiss?"

Yibo smiled and closed his eyes "No, I'm saving it for the person I will love forever" Xiao Zhan smiled. Yibo is a loyal person. Xiao Zhan truly hoped that he could be the one Yibo truly loves.

Another 2 years passed as they both got even closer. Yibo would often invite Xiao Zhan over to his house, or they would hang out at malls and other places.

But one day, Xiao Zhan got to know someone. Yibo and him were no longer classmates. A guy named Darren Wang got to be Xiao Zhan's table partner.

Darren Wang was someone new to Xiao Zhan. He had the best scores, a genius, but is either sleeping or making little trouble.

They got closer over time as Darren would teach Xiao Zhan his work, play pranks together and they even joined the running club together.

Xiao Zhan had asked Yibo to join too but Yibo straight down refused. Yibo said and convinced himself that it was because he didn't really want to run.

Yibo was actually jealous and being childish, he refused. However, he later regretted it as Xiao Zhan and Darren got closer. If he had joined, he would have been able to separate them.

Darren was teaching Xiao Zhan math when Yibo was about to find him to go home together. Yibo stood at the back door and frowned. Why does Darren have to put his arm on the back of Xiao Zhan's chair? Why does he have to lean in so close?

Yibo was about to knock when what Darren said caught his attention. "Did you get the answer?"

Xiao Zhan looked up at him and tilted his head. Yibo felt upset. How can Xiao Zhan show such a cute side to Darren?! What made Yibo even more upset was hearing Darren's chuckle.

Darren looked straight into Xiao Zhan's eyes. "The answer is 5. 2. 0. 520 (I love you)" Seeing Xiao Zhan and Darren still maintaining that annoying eye contact, Yibo was raging.

Putting his stoic face on, he knocked on the door. "Zhan, are you done? Let's go" Xiao Zhan looked at Yibo and smiled as he ran over. Yibo glared at Darren for a second thinking 'Hah, see that?'

"Yibo, sorry but I have training today" Xiao Zhan answered. Yibo frowned. Why does Xiao Zhan have training so often? "What time will you end? I can wait for you"

Xiao Zhan smiled and shook his head "It's fine, you can go back first" Yibo kept his frown there. Everytime Yibo said he will wait Xiao Zhan told him not to either.

Darren walked over and hooked his arm around Xiao Zhan's neck. "Zhan, we'll be late if we don't go" Well, this is another thing Yibo hates. Darren being so touchy, calling Xiao Zhan by 'Zhan' and Xiao Zhan not minding it.

Xiao Zhan was being dragged away by Darren. "Bye Yibo! See you tomorrow!" Xiao Zhan shouted as he waved.

Yibo just stood there. What was with this tight feeling in his chest. Xiao Zhan belongs to him. He hates that Xiao Zhan found a friend that sticks so close to him.

He hates that Xiao Zhan does not give him as much attention as he used to. He hates that Xiao Zhan isn't hanging out and walking home together as much.

He also hates that Xiao Zhan isn't listening to his every want and command. Xiao Zhan refused him just for a running club? Or was it because of Darren Wang?!

Yibo clenched his fist tightly. The thing he hates the most is that Xiao Zhan no longer says "I love you, Yibo." Xiao Zhan used to say it everyday before they part.

To Yibo, it was Xiao Zhan telling him that he is No.1, he is the best. But ever since they changed class, Xiao Zhan said it less often and after some time stopped saying it.

"Ooh, someone forgot to say 'I love you'"
