For the next week, Xiao Zhan totally became Yibo's willing slave again. Anything Yibo asked and he would do. They didn't disclose their relationship and Yibo only held hands with him to and from school.

The only thing Xiao Zhan rejected was to go further than hugging. The sharp Emily had already guessed so.

The reason why Emily popped out so often is because she happened to be Xiao Zhan's classmate. And the guy she wanted isn't Darren but Yibo. So she had to create a wedge between Yibo and Xiao Zhan.

Today, she had another plan. She finally convinced Yibo to do this. Xiao Zhan was walking with Darren to collect their bags after training when they heard erotic sounds coming from the classroom.

"Yibo!" Emily screamed and Xiao Zhan froze with widened eyes. Moans were heard and tears escaped Xiao Zhan's eyes. Yibo was cheating on him?!

Xiao Zhan ran away and Darren immediately followed. Emily shrugged her shoulders "They ran away" Yibo got angry "This isn't working! Didn't you say he will barge in and see us not doing anything then drag me away wanting to do something?!"

Emily rolled her eyes "I can't control it if he chose to run away" Yibo glared at her and shut her up. He doesn't even want to talk to her or look at her, much less touch her.

Darren had to comfort Xiao Zhan who was crying his heart now. He refused to go further with Yibo so Yibo chose to relieve his desire with others? What happened to the loyal Yibo who would only look at the one he truly loves?

Or maybe its because Yibo doesn't truly love him in the first place. Or simply because Yibo changed.

The next day Xiao Zhan came to school lifeless. Emily tugged Yibo's shirt "He's here!
Quick! If this doesn't work we'll stop this!"

Yibo sighed. This is the last straw. Emily cupped Yibo's face and Yibo fought the urge to smack her away. They pretended to be kissing and "Oooh"s came from all around.

Emily was proud of herself. This is her chance. She place one hand on the back of Yibo's head and smashed her lips against Yibo's for real.

Yibo widened his eyes in shock. Xiao Zhan felt his world crashing on him. He was in denial but what he saw now confirmed all his doubts. Xiao Zhan ran away with Darren chasing after him.

"What the fuck!" Yibo shouted as he pushed Emily away, a murderous aura immediately surrounding him. "Fuck! Who said you could kiss me for real?! Disgusting!" Yibo cursed.

He looked around but could no longer find Xiao Zhan. Yibo ran to the toilet and furiously wiped his lips. He didn't know what he was doing. He felt angry that Emily dared to do that to him.

But he felt even angrier for letting himself do whatever Emily said. He hated himself for letting Emily mess with him. He hated himself for trying to force Xiao Zhan to take a step further in their relationship which obviously backfired.

A week passed and Yibo was freaking out. He could not contact Xiao Zhan. His phone was turned off and he and Darren did not go to school. Yibo went to Xiao Zhan's home and it was empty too.

The thought of them being together for the whole week filled him with rage. Meanwhile, Xiao Zhan laid at on the sand by the beach for 2 whole days.

Darren was always by his side, only leaving once to get lots of food supplies. He came back to see Xiao Zhan half submerged in the water and it scared the hell out of him.

Darren had to force feed Xiao Zhan and Xiao Zhan only slept after crying buckets. Two whole days passed and Darren was done. He carried Xiao Zhan bridal style.

Xiao Zhan didn't even have the energy to push him away. Darren brought Xiao Zhan to his house and took care of him. "Zhan, why did you go to the beach?"

Xiao Zhan kept silent and Darren raised his voice "Answer me!" Xiao Zhan flinched in shock. Never had Darren shouted at him.

"B-Because its my safe place. It's where my parents lay" Xiao Zhan stammered a little. "That's right. But did you get the comfort you wanted?"

Tears welled up in Xiao Zhan's eyes. He wailed and cried his heart out while repeating "No..." Darren walked over and hugged him. "Do you feel my warmth?"

Xiao Zhan was sobbing so hard he couldn't see. But the broad shoulders and gentle arms around him did give him warmth. Xiao Zhan nodded his head.

Darren wiped his tears. "Zhan, it's okay to cry. Cry it out and you'll feel better. But remember this, if you need someone to comfort you, someone to be with you, I am here. I am always here and I'll be here for you. Alright?"

Xiao Zhan started crying again. He cried all he could in Darren's arms and fell asleep. Darren told Xiao Zhan its fine if he doesn't want to go to school.

Darren can tutor Xiao Zhan. There was only a month left till finals and after that they can graduate. Xiao Zhan nodded. He felt grateful towards Darren.

"Darren, c-can I go see him once?" Xiao Zhan asked nervously. Darren ruffles his hair "Of course. Ask him why he did those. He must have his reasons"

Xiao Zhan then smiled and gathered his courage. That's right. Loyal Yibo must have had his reasons.

Xiao Zhan went to see Yibo. But all he saw was Yibo passionately kissing a girl, his hand even groping her butt.

Xiao Zhan froze. He wanted to scream and cry but nothing came out. He had been crying so much and his voice was hoarse. He wanted to run away. And he did, just to bump into a broad chest right behind him.

Xiao Zhan looked up to see Darren. There wasn't pity in his eyes. It was understanding. There wasn't any mock or ridicule. It was warmth and love.

Xiao Zhan's tears which disappeared came back. He hugged Darren tightly, crying his heart out while Darren carried him back.

The month passed and finals was here. Xiao Zhan was determined to get it over with and graduate. Then he and Darren made a promise to leave this area and move to another.
