Yibo frowned and turned around, to see a girl standing there. Yibo was about to walk away when the girl spoke again "Geez, he is spending more time with that guy than you"

"What do you want?" Yibo asked coldly, not bothering to look at her. The girl smirked "To help you of course. You see, I like Darren Wang and you want your Xiao Zhan. I can help you"

Yibo was a little interested. "How?" The girl hopped in front of Yibo "I'm Emily Qi. We just have to pretend we're up to something and have a relationship!"

"No." Yibo coldly rejected this stupid suggestion. Why would he play pretend with someone he doesn't even know? Emily didn't give up.

"Oh, then I guess you just have to watch Xiao Zhan and Darren get closer. I think you don't mind even if they end up together"

Yibo stopped in his tracks. Xiao Zhan and Darren together?! No way. No. Fucking. Way. Not a chance. Yibo turned around and nodded his head, agreeing to it.

And the next day was the start of Xiao Zhan's heart breaking. He happily waited outside Yibo's house for Yibo to come out. The moment Yibo came out, Xiao Zhan smiled widely and called out "Yibo!"

But his call was drowned out by a loud voice from behind that said the same thing. Xiao Zhan frowned as he turned around. Why is there a girl waiting for Yibo?!

Yibo simply started walking. Emily kept chatting away beside Yibo, occasionally hitting Yibo's arm in a playful manner.

Xiao Zhan looked at the ground while walking behind them. His mind was filled with all kinds of thoughts. Thoughts that he didn't like and hoped wasn't true.

Yibo did glance back once and saw how Xiao Zhan walked. He hated that Emily is chattering away whatever bullshit beside him. He hated that she is standing on Xiao Zhan's spot.

He hated that he can't hear Xiao Zhan talk about what he was up to yesterday, or any interesting things. Yibo was just about to tell Emily to stop and go away when he frowned.

"Zhan!" Darren shouted as he ran towards Xiao Zhan and wrapped an arm around him. Darren ruffled his hair "You're so cute today"

Ever since Emily popped out, Xiao Zhan hadn't smiled once. Seeing Xiao Zhan smile at Darren angered Yibo further.

"You dumb, what are you doing? You're supposed to make him jealous" Emily whispered. Yibo did not want to bother with her but seeing the two acting so lovey dovey behind was so infuriating.

"Should we go to the mall later?" Yibo asked loudly. Xiao Zhan turned to say yes in excitement but his heart fell and shattered. There was Yibo looking at Emily and Emily eagerly smiling and nodding back.

Xiao Zhan sulked the whole time but Yibo never once looked back. Yibo actually asked her to hang out? Could it be... Yibo really found his true love?

During class, Xiao Zhan was distracted the whole time. "Zhan? Zhan, Zhan, Zhan. Zhan... Zhan! Zhan? Xiao Zhan!" Darren whisper yelled.

Darren chuckle seeing Xiao Zhan not responding. Faking a low deep voice, Darren shouted "Daydreaming in class, Xiao Zhan!"

Xiao Zhan widened his eyes, startled and jumped up, just to notice the teacher in front of him wasn't the scary QiRen but Darren. Darren laughed like mad and Xiao Zhan pouted.

Yibo who had came to ask Xiao Zhan to go for lunch did not miss this. That pout. Emily popped up beside him "Aish, I wonder how he will react if you don't ask him for lunch today and he sees you having lunch with someone else"

Yibo was annoyed with her but he was curious too. How would Xiao Zhan feel? How would he react? Hence Yibo went along with her.

Xiao Zhan waited for 5 more minutes but Yibo did not appear. Darren pulled Xiao Zhan up. "When someone doesn't come find you, you have to go find him"

Xiao Zhan nodded his head and followed Darren to the canteen, his eyes looking out for his love. And the moment he reached the canteen, he spotted his love.

However, he was sitting with a girl. Yibo never lets anyone sit on the same bench as him or the one opposite unless its Xiao Zhan.

A month passed and everyday Xiao Zhan was dying inside. They couldn't walk to school together as Emily would be there, Yibo talked to him less, hung out with him less and did not ask him to go for lunch together.

Rumours went flying that Emily melted the cold prince's heart and that they were together and all sorts of other things that made Xiao Zhan upset and jealous. But he knew he did not have the right to. Maybe she is Yibo's true love.

Darren could not take it. He confronted Yibo. "What on earth are you up to?" Yibo hates this guy so much "And what does that have to do with you?"

"You know Zhan likes you. You're hurting him!" Darren clenched his fist. "Really?" Yibo scoffed with a smirk "Seems to me he isn't hurt and enjoys his time with you"

Darren sighed "I don't get why you are acting like this but it is very dumb. Very. And you're right for being wary of me. Continue being this way and I'll snatch him from you"

Yibo clenched his fist too. No way is he going to let Darren snatch Xiao Zhan away. "Hey" Yibo growled.

Darren turned around to see a fist connect to his face. Then another and a few more, even to his stomach. Before Darren could retaliate, Xiao Zhan appeared.

"Darren! Yibo! What are you doing to him?!" Xiao Zhan shouted as he held Yibo's arm, trying to push him away. Yibo was so mad all he wanted was to punch Darren. He was even angrier that the first person Xiao Zhan called wasn't him.

Xiao Zhan was pushed harshly by Yibo and fell on his butt, stunned. Yibo and Darren looked over in surprise. Darren quickly pushed Yibo away and crouched beside Xiao Zhan. "Zhan, are you alright?"
