Xiao Zhan woke up 2 days later in the hospital, with Darren beside him. Darren was asleep but his complexion not very good.

Xiao Zhan started thinking about Yibo. One mistake is fine. Two mistakes is forgivable. Three mistakes is Xiao Zhan's limit.

Back then in his point of view, Yibo cheated on him by doing it with someone else and also kissed someone else in front of the whole school.

And if that wasn't enough, there was the thing about him having a fiance and him making out with someone in front of his house.

That's why Xiao Zhan left. He came back and found out all those were misunderstandings. But then, the ones now aren't misunderstandings.

Yibo confirmed them. Yibo played around with others for some reasons. He couldn't have been drugged each and every time.

Xiao Zhan imagined going on a date with Yibo every night to meet each and every man and woman who Yibo spent his nights with before. Xiao Zhan hated the thought of it.

Just then, a nurse came in and smiled when she saw Xiao Zhan awake. "How are you feeling?"

Xiao Zhan quickly wiped his tears. He wanted to speak but his throat was dry. The nurse understood and brought him a cup of water.

"He made a ruckus in the hospital. He carried you in, shouting, screaming and crying. He fell asleep only an hour ago.

He had been awake the whole time by your side, buying food for the both of you but he himself did not eat because he wanted to wait for you to wake up and eat together."

The nurse chuckled slightly while pouring more water into the cup for Xiao Zhan "I am glad you woke up before we get another patient"

The nurse then left and Xiao Zhan stared at Darren. "Sorry" Xiao Zhan whispered as he moved the strands of hair that fell on Darren's face.

Xiao Zhan was feeling tired and drowsy due to the medication the nurse gave him but he did not want to fall asleep after hearing Darren not eating and waiting for him.

A few minutes later, Darren woke up. He immediately stood up "Zhan! You're awake! Are you feeling okay? Does anywhere hurt?"

Xiao Zhan let out a small smile and shook his head "I'm hungry. Let's eat" Darren nodded his head and grabbed the food.

"Ah... It's cold, I'll go get new ones!" Darren said and ran out before Xiao Zhan could stop him. Xiao Zhan sighed.

Just then, the door opened. "Darren, no need to..." Xiao Zhan started but stopped when he saw that the person standing at the door wasn't Darren.

Xiao Zhan turned his head away. Yibo bit his lower lip and went to Xiao Zhan "Zhan... I was wrong..."

Xiao Zhan frowned, still not looking at Yibo but said "You... You made yourself sound so innocent... I'm glad I found out before we deepened our relationship"

Yibo's eyes widened. Xiao Zhan did want to deepen their relationship. "Zhan Zhan... I was lonely. The first time was a mistake. But I took her for you. And it felt good. So each time I did it, I thought of you and I felt that I'm not cheating on you"

"You're saying... If I go around having sex with people, it's fine as long as I think of them as you?" Xiao Zhan asked.

"T-That's not what I meant..." Yibo muttered then sighed "Zhan, I was indeed waiting for you. But there was the possibility that you weren't coming back at all!"

"I see..." Xiao Zhan mumbled then looked at Yibo "If that's how you think, you misunderstood your feelings for me. You're just being selfish and obsessed over the idea of making me your slave. Only yours.

If I didn't come back, you might have even gotten married, saying that I might not have came back at all so you had to settle down."

Yibo frowned "Then Zhan, you can't say your feelings for me is love too. How can you love Darren if you love me?"

Xiao Zhan showed a sad smile "You were my everything. I could have waited my whole life for you and been your slave, but you gave me hope. You told me you love me.

When there was those misunderstandings, I felt like the world crashed on me. I wanted to join my parents on that day. I think humans are greedy.

Once you told me you love me, I thought I could be your only one. But I was proven wrong. It was a hard blow for me.

But Darren saved me, helped me and stood by me. He gave me a shoulder to cry and lean on when I needed it. He was there everytime something bad happened to me.

There was once I almost got raped and he saved me. In exchange, there is a knife scar on his back. This is one of the many things he have done for me.

On the nights I fell ill, we didn't have much money. But he did everything he could to buy medicines, make me see the doctor and take care of me.

Yibo, you were my everything and he helped me live without you. How can I not have feelings for such a man? He was truly my saviour. My heart started beating for him. He even accepted the fact that I still had you in my heart."

"But Zhan... I do love you... I do want to spend time with you, love you and grow old with you" Yibo said.

Xiao Zhan bit his lower lip "Yibo... can you... leave me alone for a while? I... I can't and don't want to think now. Give me some time"

"Why? Zhan, you are just finding an excuse to shake me off right? Because I had sex with others? The main reason for that was because you disappeared!" Yibo exclaimed, his anger making him say things he'll regret.

Xiao Zhan shut his eyes, feeling hurt from Yibo's words. "Yibo, you only want me because I was always your slave and suddenly disappeared from your grip.

I thought you loved me but now I know I'm wrong. Yibo, you have never lived with me. Once you get tired of me, you'll throw me away... Please... Please spare me from the pain"
