Yibo was happy to see Xiao Zhan. He wanted to talk to Xiao Zhan but Xiao Zhan always left the examination early. Even if he chased after Xiao Zhan, somehow he just missed him.

On graduation day, Yibo got the chance. Xiao Zhan was walking to the toilet when Yibo covered his mouth and pulled him into a storeroom.

"Where have you been all this time?" Yibo asked angrily. Xiao Zhan hated that his heart still beat faster upon seeing Yibo so close to him. But there was that ache in his heart because Yibo chose to cheat on him. Yibo hated Xiao Zhan's silence.

"Answer me!" Yibo shouted, making Xiao Zhan flinch. Yibo sighed seeing Xiao Zhan tremble "Zhan, I didn't kiss her. It was just an act."

Xiao Zhan did not believe Yibo. He heard Yibo making erotic sounds with Emily. He saw them kiss right in front of a huge crowd. He also saw Yibo kissing another girl passionately outside his house.

What made him not believe Yibo is because of something he heard. "Yibo, did you tell your parents you don't love me and is it true that they have arranged a fiance for you?"

Yibo was too surprised that Xiao Zhan knew his parents arranged a fiance for him that he forgot to deny the front part "H-How did you know?"

Xiao Zhan felt his heart plummet. Darren was urgent and ran to the toilet. Xiao Zhan should have ran after him instead of slowly walking there. "Zhan, listen..."

"Stop. I don't want to" Xiao Zhan said trying to free the grip on his wrist. Yibo felt angry and shouted "Zhan! I said listen to me!" while tightening his grip. Xiao Zhan let tears roll down his face as he struggled more "I don't want to. Let me go!"

Before Yibo could argue the door flung open, the handle broken. They turned to see an angry Darren Wang. Darren walked up and punched Yibo hard, making Yibo fall to the ground.

Xiao Zhan immediately stopped Darren. It hurt him to see Yibo hurt. Xiao Zhan hugged Darren "Please, we got our results, let's go"

Yibo immediately stood up and grabbed Xiao Zhan's hands. He glared at Darren and snarled "Let him go. I need to talk to him."

Darren punched Yibo one more time and ran while pulling Xiao Zhan along. "Are you alright?" Darren asked.

Xiao Zhan looked at him and nodded his head "Thank you." Darren chuckled and ruffled his hair "Didn't I warn you not to say that to me ever again?"

Xiao Zhan smiled a little though tears were still falling. "Really, thanks" Darren smiled back. "Alright let's go. The genius is treating the gullible to dinner."

"Who is gullible!" Xiao Zhan retorted but let out a chuckle and got excited at the idea of eating delicious food.

Xiao Zhan and Darren really moved to another city. Yibo tried finding everywhere but heard that they moved. Yibo was angry and jealous that they moved together.

Yibo hated his parents for forcing a marriage on him. It's been 4 years now and he kept postponing the marriage, kept mistreating the girl but somehow she was still relentless. Yibo never touched the girl.

Yibo came home late with a little alcohol in him. "Yibo. Where did you go? You're turning 23 this year. Can't you be a bit more sensible?" Yibo's father asked.

Yibo kept silent and continued walking to his room. "Marry in a month" Yibo snapped his head back. "You can't do this to me!"

Yibo's father stood up "Why can't I? Don't tell me you still love that poor useless orphan?" Yibo was fuming "Zhan is not useless! Don't speak bad of him!"

"He can't even handle a few problems. If someone plots on him, he doesn't even know how to fight back. He is useless." Yibo's father said.

"What do you mean?" Yibo asked with furrowed brows. Yibo's father shrugged. "Just got someone with your height and similar looks and a little make up. Just plant him in front of our house passionately making out with another girl and he ran away.

Weakling. He is not a good match. He doesn't even fight for it. But it's a good thing, it's easy to make him back off. At least he knows where he stands."

Yibo felt the rage burning in him "You got someone to create misunderstandings between us?!" Yibo's father glared at him. "You don't get to talk to me like that. And he is useless if he can't even handle that!"

"We were already having enough misunderstandings!" Yibo shouted, then went to his room and shut the door. Ever since Yibo learned that Xiao Zhan moved away with Darren, he sent someone to pick up their traces but he never received any information.

He knew that his father was the one who did something and didn't let him get the information. No matter who Yibo turned to, they were all bribed by his father.

Yibo just couldn't get his hands on Xiao Zhan's location. What he did not know was that his father created a misunderstanding.

Just imagining Zhan coming to find him but end up seeing him making out with someone pierced his heart. Yibo cried while holding the bunny soft toy he held on for 8 years. "Zhan... I miss you... I regret taking you for granted... I regret doing those stupid acts... Please come back to me..."
