Smiles of Rain

Droplets of rain is all I hear,
I feel like a storm is coming near.
Yesterday was a fine and sunny day,
now, the skies turn to gray.

Outside the window-pane,
are gushes of rain.
Listening to the sound,
of water dripping on the ground.

Staring blankly outside,
watching as the clouds cried.
Bolts of lightning streaked in the sky,
making me wonder why?

Memories of my darkest days,
pains me like a fiery blaze.
Eyes closed shut, reminiscing those times,
back when you were mine.

I don't know what to do,
especially, when I was so close to you.
Moving on is something that's need to be done,
I just can't accept that you're really gone.

Smiling as I look up,
the blue sky is what I see above.
The rain who gave me loneliness,
was also the one who gave me happiness.

Looking outside,
as the rain has finally come to an end.
Rainbows will start to ascend,
time to start anew again.

The rain is clearing the way,
and now, everything will be okay.
For when the rain finely does cease,
smiles of rain will bring peace.
