A/N
This chapter is short, really short, but it's just a filler so I'm not too worried about it. I finally got a new laptop so I'm really excited to update everything. Hope everyone is staying safe!

They only kept me for a day instead of two, They said since my vitals were stable and the babies seemed to be fine, I would be okay to go home, but I had to take it easy.
I just want to know what the group of us did to deserve any of this. Being drafted, Mikey dying, Gee and I coming close to it. What did any of us do? Are we cursed?
Thankfully, Gerard had woken up only a few hours after me, but they wanted to keep him longer since his injuries were more severe than mine. They said he would be home within a week, to which he groaned at. He'd always been stubborn, but Lindsey reassured him that everything would be fine.
Due to his injuries, Gerard would not be returning to war. We were unsure of Frank and Ray, but most likely, which kind of broke all of our hearts. Hopefully this would all end soon. We've all became a family over the years. Ray and Frank are like my adopted brothers. Gerard and Lindsey are actually family now, obviously.
It doesn't matter if you're related through blood or marriage or not related at all; if you feeling like a family, you're family. That's how I look at it at least.
I waddled through the hall towards Gerard's room. I figured I'd visit him before I went back to the house. Frank and Jamia were going to watch Bandit and Rowan while Ray and Christa helped Lindsey move their stuff in.
Frank and Ray had our old storage room cleared out in a day, which was nice. I told them to just take everything to the attic and I'd deal with it at a later time.
"Knock knock." I said as I reached Gerard's door.
"Hey, Y/N, how are you feeling?" He asked.
"You're really asking me how I feel after everything?" I laughed. He smiled and shook his head.
"I mean, you're the one that is pregnant with twins, so yes I'm going to ask." I sat down beside his bed and we talked for a bit. He said he was excited to go home, and especially excited to move in with Ro and I. The house was big enough to fit us, although it would be busy with three adults, two toddlers, and two babies.
"Well, you'll be out soon and then we can have a nice meal and relax with the kids. It'll be nice." I smiled. I stayed for about an hour before I had to go back home. "I'll be back tomorrow. Lindsey said she'll be back over after dinner."
"Thank you for coming, really. It gets lonely in here." He frowned.
"No need to thank me. You would've done the same for any of us." I leaned in and hugged him lightly to keep from hurting him. "I'll see you later, Gee. Get some rest."
