I'm suffering but it's fine (Kokichi x Shuichi)

Chapter 8

Shuichi's POV

Nothing knew was happening. No new murders and nothing special. I really hope Kokichi is getting better, though sometimes I cant tell due his barrier of lies.

When ever I spend time with him I feel, weird? This sensation, I wonder what it is.

I wish Kaede were here...maybe I could of asked her.

I was about to go find Kokichi when I heard someone yelling my name.

"SHUICHI!!!!!!!!!" I quickly turned around. "Kaito?" Kaito was running towards me at full speed. He stopped right in front of me.

"I need you help!" He said quickly. "for what? what happened?"

"Maki's about to kill me!!!!!" After he said that we saw someone turn the corner. Kaito ran behind me. "Shuichi? Kaito?"

it was only Kokichi. wait... KOKICHI!!. "what are you guys doing?" He said confused.

"apparently Maki is trying to k-kill Kaito?" Kaito nodded. Kokichi looked at Kaito and then at me.

"I'm going to join her then!" Kokichi yelled with a playful grin.

"YOU BRAT!" Kaito yelled. "Come back here!!" Kokichi smiled at Kaito. "Nope!~" He said while running away. I highly doubt he went to Maki.

"Kaito what did you even do to make her so angry?" Kaito looked around nervously "I hugged her..."
I stared at him.

"why the hell would you hug her." Kaito was unable to find the right words. "she looked like she needed a hug..." I mentally face palmed. "your on your own Kaito..."

"Wait! DONT LEAVE ME SIDEKICKKKKKKKKK!!!!!" I sighed and walked away. "your have to solve your own problems Kaito."

Kokichi's POV

I knew Maki was angered so I made sure to steer clear of her way. I quickly run off to my room and decide to work on finding the mastermind.

Right when I was about to start, I heard a knock on my door. I walked over to it and opened it. "Hi Kokichi!" it was Shuichi. "oh hi Shuichi!" I said "Do you need anything?"

"u-um I was just making s-sure you were o-ok..." I nodded "I was just planning a murder!" I said excitedly

"Wait what!?" Shuichi yelled taking a step back.

"that was a lie!" I said while putting my arms to the back of my head. "o-oh" Shuichi stuttered. I smiled at him.

I let him into my room and we talked for a bit. After the nighttime announcement played he left. I realized I hadn't done any investigating. I'll have to do it tomorrow. I sighed

I jumped into my bed. I soon fell asleep.
